Rev. Deusdedit Ssekabira, a Catholic priest from the Masaka Diocese, Uganda, is in custody of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF). He was reported missing earlier this month, sparking national concern and debate over due process and military involvement in civilian detentions. Rev Ssekabira was last seen on 3 December. According to the Masaka Diocese, he was taken from his office in Katwe, Masaka City, by men wearing Uganda Army uniforms, who put him into an unmarked vehicle. The diocese described the incident as a 'kidnapping' and expressed deep alarm, calling for prayers and legal action amid fruitless efforts to trace him. For nearly two weeks after his disappearance, neither security agencies nor police publicly confirmed knowledge of his whereabouts. The Uganda Police Force initially said it was “verifying” social media claims of an abduction. On 14 December 2025, the UPDF issued a brief statement acknowledging that they were holding Rev. Ssekabira. They alleged that he had …More
By Erik Gregory, Todd Gregory Civilizational erasure, as it relates to Europe, has been in the news lately, with the renewed and scaled up predations of Islam once again commanding center stage. Islam’s resurgence has been a full century in the making, enabled in large part by Western ignorance and enforced taboos against discussing Islam’s highly relevant 1,400-year history of mass bloodshed and conquest. Indeed, that history is whitewashed by Western academics, whether pseudo-historians like the late Edward Said or execrable and ahistorical oikophobes like Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky. Wikipedia, Google, and artificial intelligence also play outsized roles in the academic and historical whitewash. The true history of Islam and what it has wrought through the centuries is not taught to Western schoolchildren. Modern Westerners have zero historical memory of Islam extending back more than a few decades, nor would they be the least bit curious if they were taught this hugely important …
Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13 “Ah! Rebellious and polluted, the tyrannical city!; In the Lord it has not trusted, nor drawn near to its God.” The root of a person’s evil, both against themselves and against others, is their failure to draw near to God and their turning away from Him. Matthew 21:28-32 He answered, “Yes, Lord!” but he did not go. Jesus presented himself as the Son who says “Yes, Lord,” and goes; he is present with us. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
It can be summed up as anti-life. Anything and everything which supports or enriches human life is opposed. Everything which degrades human thriving is promoted.

In December, the Family Pastoral Service of the Diocese of Chiavari, Italy, published a booklet titled Non c’è un amore più grande (“There Is No Greater Love”). The diocese is run by Bishop Giampio Devasini. The publication presents a collection of autobiographical “Christian testimonies” of homosexuals and adulterers. Among the homosexuals are Marco and Michele: "We have been together since 2001." The two homosexuals are increasingly integrated into parish life, including participation in the parish choir and diocesan pastoral activities: "What was previously set aside because it was uncomfortable and difficult to testify to has now become a reason for commitment, to bring our experiences to others." They blame their lifestyle on God: "I believe that the ultimate goal of our work is to break down those walls of division that have always hindered the active participation of people belonging to the broad sphere of homoaffectivity in the life of the Church, under the love of the one …More
How a Catholic diocese can boast about open, serial and non-repentant sinners being witnesses to the faith is a non sequitur. Not only is it illogical, but it is also scandalous and sinful. No wonder people are fleeing the Catholic Church in droves.
Witness account from Bondi Beach tonight: He reports that at least four police officers did not return fire for over 20 minutes yesterday. The police station is only a few hundred metres away. Any comment from Cardinal Parolin?
Also these are crimes of murder for which laws exist to investigate and prosecute. Jail and even enforce capital punishment. Not excuses for international wars.
This legal system protects criminals. The police are afraid to shoot. In the West, Europe, Australia, they suffer for it. Now the victims are Jews, but this is nothing new, unfortunately.
