The Hong Kong Court of Appeal has been hearing the appeal of Cardinal Joseph Zen (93, retired Catholic bishop of Hong Kong) and four other trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund: barrister Margaret Ng, academic Hui Po-keung, former lawmaker Cyd Ho, and singer-activist Denise Ho. They were convicted in November 2022 of failing to register the 612 Fund as a “society” under Hong Kong’s Societies Ordinance and each fined HK$4,000; the fund’s secretary, Sze Shing-wai, was fined HK$2,500 and is not part of the appeal.
Cardinal Gerhard Müller reflects in the newspaper Die Tagespost on December 4 on the 60th anniversary of Vatican II. He claims that debates about the interpretation of the Council have significantly shaped the faith of many Catholics since the 1960s [while in reality, Cathoilcs simply vanished]. The Cardinal notes that both “traditionalist” and “progressivist” approaches can misinterpret the Council: the former want to go behind the Council, while the latter seek to move beyond it. He argues that the Council itself distinguishes between the unchangeable substance of Catholic doctrine, liturgy, and Church constitution, and the "changeable" forms of expression or liturgical practice. According to him, both “sterile conservatism” and unfounded modernism misunderstand this distinction. Furthermore, Cardinal Müller considers debates about whether the Council was “merely pastoral” to be theologically absurd, as doctrine and pastoral mission are inseparable in Christ. The Bizzaro world propagandists' reports and their script readers/a.k.a. desk reporters are ever brainwashing the multitudes. One recent story relayed is worth noticing regarding the C N N [Con] J6 report of the J6 bomber who was described as a white male by the desk mind manipulator reporter just prior to his picture being put on the screen. The picture was of the J6 bomber who is a black man. Hmm. It is interesting to actually wonder how many people watching and listening were aware of this and how many were unaware???

We hear much from the Church of today about “dialogue.” Josef Pieper, in Abuse of Language—Abuse of Power, reminds us: “Any discourse detached from the norms of reality is at the same time mere monologue. The time has come to reeducate our bishops, beginning with how they use—and manifestly misuse—the English language. Our Lord gave us a clear precept about language: “Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from the Evil One” (Matthew 5:37). And likewise, from the Old Testament: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20). These bishops, and sadly even the supreme pontiff, have, in proclaiming and teaching about immigration and other societal issues, fallen prey to the scourges of muddy thinking, faulty analysis, and false equivalence. This woeful state of affairs recently came to my attention after some time spent in adoration before …
Those who call themselves bishops should be given basic Catholic lessons—intensive classes where they learn that the apostate ecumenism they promote violates the First Commandment. But I don't think they'll attend such classes because they know very well what they're doing and the destructive plan they're following.
Isaiah 30:19-21, 23-26 “People of Zion, dwelling in Jerusalem, you shall no longer weep; The Lord will be most gracious to you.” The grace of God is present in this moment. We receive it. Matthew 9:35–10:1, 5a, 6-8 “Jesus proclaims the Gospel of the Kingdom.” The Gospel is Jesus. Jesus proclaims that God is with us. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.

Saint Barbara of Nicomedia - December 4 That's don Reto Nay, cofounder of GTV! Virgin and Martyr (3rd century) St. Barbara's pagan father Dioscorus confined her in a tower and goaded her to renounce Jesus. In that forced solitude, she prayed and studied. She also received formation and baptism. When St. Barbara's activities were uncovered, Dioscorus was enraged. He denounced St. Barbara before a civil tribunal. As punishment, she was tortured and beheaded. Martyrologies state that Dioscorus was St. Barbara's executioner. Some also state that he was killed by a lightning bolt. St. Barbara's prayers likely resulted in conversions and miracles through her intercession. Lives of the Saints, by Alban Butler, Benziger Bros. ed. [1894]

Barbe Memorial 4 December formerly 16 December limited to local calendars in 1969 Profile A beautiful maiden imprisoned in a high tower by her father Dioscorus for disobedience. While there, she was tutored by philosphers, orators and poets. From them she learned to think, and decided that polytheism was nonsense. With the help of Origen and Valentinian, she converted to Christianity. Her father denounced her to the local authorities for her faith, and they ordered him to kill her. She escaped, but he caught her, dragged her home by her hair, tortured her, and killed her. He was immediately struck by lightning, or according to some sources, fire from heaven. Her imprisonment led to her association with towers, then the construction and maintenance of them, then to their military uses. The lightning that avenged her murder led to asking her protection against fire and lightning, and her patronage of firefighters, etc. Her association with things military and …More
'Montaigne died in 1592 at the age of 59, at the Château de Montaigne, from a peritonsillar abscess. In his case, the disease "brought about paralysis of the tongue",[39] especially difficult for a person who once said that "the most fruitful and natural play of the mind is conversation. I find it sweeter than any other action in life; and if I were forced to choose, I think I would rather lose my sight than my hearing and voice."[40] Remaining in possession of all his other faculties, he requested a Mass, and he died during the celebration of that Mass.'
Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Baltic States, has renewed his call for a peaceful approach to the Roman Rite. In a press release, the German broadcaster K-TV announced that the full interview will air on Sunday. In it, Archbishop Gänswein comments on Pope Francis’ 2021 motu proprio Traditionis custodes. He argued that the Church should once again consider the pastoral approach adopted by Pope Benedict XVI in 'Summorum Pontificum': "I consider Pope Benedict’s wise regulation to be the right path — and this path should be continued without burdens or restrictions," said Monsignor Gänswein. He added that he hopes Pope Leo XIV will continue the pacification of this thorny issue. Archbishop Gänswein also expressed his personal desire to see a formal beatification process opened for the late Pope Benedict XVI. #newsNyyjolwslt
"I consider Pope Benedict’s wise regulation to be the right path" --- These modernists do not change. They love lives in falsehood and fiction, and call it "the right path".
Archbishop Gänswein made those statements in January 2023. I wonder if hestill feels the same way today. Perhaps he does, but "flexibility" has always been one of the strong suits of the Conciliarists.
Lighthouse Assembly of God with one of the STRANGEST speaking in tongues sounds we've ever heard, almost like an alarm clock, and then a nonsensical "interpretation."
"The way to Heaven is tough. Our time has reached a higher intensity of evil than before. Temptations are greater than ever,” said Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X in an interview with Kenya’s Immaculata TV on 23 November (video below). He explained that there has been a terrible crisis in the Church since Vatican II, including a terrifying decline in vocations: "You wonder how far it can go." And, "The influence of the Church on the world is now reduced to nothing." Bishop Fellay quoted Cardinal Ratzinger’s well-known prediction that the Church as we know it will disappear and be reduced to "little islands": "I fear we are very close to that time." He continued, "A lot of things in the Church have already been destroyed." On Tucho’s Document About Marian Titles Regarding Cardinal Victor (Tucho) Fernández and his recent document on the Marian titles Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces, Bishop Fellay called it “pitiful.” “It is an insult to God,” he …More
