In a recent video, the young Vietnamese-American convert Laura pleads with Pope Leo XIV to stop being "confusing", calling this "false compassion". Initially, she was “very hopeful” about his election, but she now presents a list of his failures. She notes that he does not discipline priests who advocate heresies such as female ordination. She also mentions the appointment of Cristiana Perrella, who has promoted 'very perverse' artworks, as the new president of the Pontifical Academy for Fine Arts. She adds that Leo XIV has received homosexual activists and tolerates homosexual Eucharists: "These bishops and priests are giving the Eucharist to people who are committing unrepented mortal sins," she underlines. Furthermore, she criticises Leo XIV’s support for the global climate change agenda. Finally: "You talk about synodality, but you don't do anything to actually unite us," she declares.
In a remarkable video, a young woman named “Laura” who converted from Buddhism to Catholicism in 2018 pleads with Pope Leo XIV to be faithful to his role as Christ’s representative on Earth and urged him to stop being “confusing and abstract.” “When I heard that the world was receiving a new Pope, I was very curious, was very hopeful to see what was to come,” she began.
In the Jerusalem Temple, there was a massive veil - a thick curtain that separated the Holy of Holies (where God's presence dwelled) from the rest of the Temple. Only the High Priest could enter, and only once a year on the Day of Atonement. This veil represented the separation between God and humanity because of sin. It said: "You cannot approach God on your own. You need a mediator. Stay back." For 1,500 years, that veil hung there as a constant reminder that humans couldn't just waltz into God's presence. Then Jesus died. Matthew 27:51 records what happened at the exact moment of Jesus's death: "At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom." From top to bottom. Not bottom to top - which would suggest human hands tore it. From TOP to BOTTOM, meaning God Himself ripped it open. In that moment, God was declaring: "The separation is OVER. The barrier is GONE. Through Jesus's sacrifice, the way into my presence is now OPEN to anyone who believes." No more …More
Tue Nov 25, 2025 - 8:00 pm ESTTue Nov 25, 2025 - 4:38 pm EST (LifeSiteNews) — If you read Catholic books from the Before Times you will find no confusion, but more than a few surprises. Thanks to a recommendation from a reader of mine, I discovered an excellent example. Liberalism is a Sin not only explains what liberalism is, why it is a sin, and how it leads to atheism and moral collapse – it also shows that the phenomenon of cancelled priests is nothing new. What is also not new is the presence of liberals in the Church. When Father Felix Sarda y Salvany published this book in 1884 it provoked a response from his liberal diocesan bishop – Jacobo Catala Et Alboso. This bishop decided to have a priest, Father De Pazos, write a counterblast in favour of liberalism. Both books were sent to the Vatican, with the bishop expecting to see Fr. Sarda’s denunciation of liberalism repudiated. Unfortunately for the bishop, the pope at the time was a Catholic. Father Jerome Secheri, O.P., Secretary …

At the press conference yesterday, Tucho was asked if his document on monogamy also applies to two homosexuals in a stable relationship. He replied that the Church considers marriage to be an exclusive union between a man and a woman. But: "That does not mean that there are no values in other contexts and that what we say here cannot also apply to other forms of unions. When we talk about patience, respect, etc., that also applies to relationships between friends and other forms of relationship."
“Eminenza, vorrei sapere: questo documento, per persone dello stesso sesso che vivono unioni di monogamia… Sono esclusi da Una carne?” Tucho: “Quello non vuol dire che in altri contesti non ci siano dei valori, no? E che quello che diciamo qua non possa servire anche ad altre forme di unioni. Quando si parla della pazienza, del rispetto, eccetera eccetera, quello vale anche per un rapporto tra amici, vale per altre forme di rapporto.”
"When we talk about patience, respect, etc., that also applies to relationships between friends and other forms of relationship." Gotcha, Tucho. Before sodomy sends you to Hell, be a nice guy.
A new report has found that, since 1992, more than 700 Anglican clergy, including 16 bishops, have converted to Catholicism. Of these, 486 were ordained as priests. There were two major peaks: The first was in 1994, following the approval of women's "ordination", when around 160 conversions occurred. The second spike occurred in 2011, following the establishment of the Ordinariate, with over 80 conversions.

“Belshazzar’s Feast – The Writing on the Wall” A depiction of the fateful night in Babylon, where King Belshazzar, drunk with pride, defiles the sacred vessels of the Temple of Jerusalem. Amid golden lamps, jewels, music, and rivers of wine, men and women raise holy goblets in blasphemous praise to idols of gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone. The air is thick with arrogance, yet unseen, heaven prepares judgment—the hand of God is about to write on the wall Belshazzar's feast, or the story of the writing on the wall, chapter 5 in the Book of Daniel, tells how Neo-Babylonian royal but corrupt Belshazzar holds a great feast and drinks from the vessels that had been looted in the destruction of the First Temple. A hand appears and writes on the wall. The terrified Belshazzar calls for his wise men, but they cannot read the writing. The queen advises him to send for Daniel, renowned for his wisdom. Daniel reminds Belshazzar that his father, Nebuchadnezzar, when he became …More
[Saint John of the Cross – XVI Century AD; Fontiveros, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/Ubeda, , Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; (Aged 49); Priest, Mystic, Writer, Doctor of the Church] “ARGUMENT ALL the doctrine whereof I intend to treat in this Ascent of Mount Carmel is included in the following stanzas, and in them is also described the manner of ascending to the summit of the Mount, which is the high estate of perfection which we here call union of the soul with God. And because I must continually base upon them that which I shall say, I have desired to set them down here together, to the end that all the substance of that which is to be written may be seen and comprehended together; although it will be fitting to set down each stanza separately before expounding it, and likewise the lines of each stanza, according as the matter and the exposition require. The poem, then, runs as follows: STANZAS Wherein the soul sings of the happy chance which it had in passing through the …More
Hayli Gubbi, Ethiopia’s long-dormant volcano, located in the Erta Ale Range, has erupted for the first time in 10,000 years, spewing towering ash columns that drifted across the Red Sea toward Oman and Yemen. Scientists say the eruption marks one of the most extraordinary volcanic awakenings in the region’s recorded history. The explosive eruption began around 8:30 a.m. UTC on Sunday, according to VolcanoDiscovery, citing an advisory from the Toulouse Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC). Satellite data later confirmed the presence of a massive ash cloud rising an estimated 10–15 km into the atmosphere. Where is Hayli Gubbi and why is this eruption significant? Hayli Gubbi lies about 15 km southeast of the Erta Ale volcano, one of the most active volcanoes on Earth and home to a persistent lava lake. It also sits within Ethiopia’s Danakil Depression, one of the hottest and most remote areas on the planet. Unlike its well-known neighbor, Hayli Gubbi has no previously recorded eruptions …

Saint Silvester Gozzolini | Founder of the Sylvestrines | Catechism for Kids (November 26th) St Joseph's Corner Have you ever wondered how one person’s quiet search for God can grow into a whole religious family? On November 26, the Church celebrates Saint Silvester Gozzolini, an Italian priest who left behind a comfortable life to follow God more closely — and eventually founded the Sylvestrine Order, part of the Benedictine family. Born in 1177, Silvester served as a priest but felt called to deeper prayer after witnessing the funeral of a sinner who had avoided repentance. Shocked and moved, he sought a holier life and went into solitude near Montefano, where he prayed, fasted, and lived simply. Soon, disciples gathered around him, inspired by his holiness. This led to the creation of the Sylvestrines, a branch of the Benedictines known for their deep prayer, strict monastic life, blue habits, and love for simplicity. Saint Silvester spent his life teaching others how to love …More
'Based on historical records and collections of Saint Padre Pio's writings (such as his Epistolario, a multi-volume compilation of his letters), the quote "Mary is the co-redemptrix of the human race" is attributed to him in a letter dated April 7, 1913, addressed to his spiritual director, Father Agostino Daniele. In this letter, Padre Pio was describing his deep Marian devotion and mystical experiences, emphasizing Mary's role in salvation alongside Christ.'

Tucho Fernández, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, released on November 25 the document on monogamy, titled ‘Una caro. Elogio della monogamia’. This 156-paragraph, 40-page text essentially compiles what has been said throughout history about matrimony, from the Book of Genesis and the Church Fathers to Popes, philosophers, pagan cultures, and poets. For example, Fernández quotes Hindu sources such as the Manusmṛti, the Bhagavata Purana and the Thirukkural to affirm the value of monogamy. The document was written after discussions with African Bishops on polygamy and also on polyamorous relations, growing in the West. During the press conference, Tucho couldn’t help himself but make a pro-homosexual “joke”. He said that about how 40 years ago, people used to say that Romans had a wife, but they also had another woman and another man. In the document itself, Tucho does not appear to have committed one of his usual doctrinal errors, nor does he seem to have granted …More
