Joined the Jesuits priest in 1724. Missionary, assigned to Goa, India in 1733, then in 1734 to Macao to the kingdom of Tonkin (modern Vietnam. Arrested in March 1736. Tortured and martyred for his work.

beheaded in 1737 in Tonkin (modern Vietnam)
