Kam Him is a project of East Asian Educational Association (EAEA), a Hong Kong-based, non profit organization for the promotion of holistic education and character-training in keeping with Christian ideals.

Kam Him is a study centre which provides character training for the well-rounded development of students and young professional women. The activities organized cover a wide range from cultural to academic.

Kam Him has established collaboration with the Institute for University Cooperation (ICU), an non-governmental organization in Italy. UNIV is an annual congress organized by ICU held in Rome.

We promote values formation and character development. Young women achieve this through fostering personal growth in generosity, self-dignity, responsibility; industriousness and maturity.

YouthCom is a program to awaken the social service initiative of the youth. Yearly, social outreach projects and leadership camps are organized to provide services to the underpriviledged both in and outside Hong Kong.

Promotes spiritual development. The spiritual guidance of persons attending activities in Kam Him is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church founded by St. Josemaría Escrivá.

What is UNIV?
UNIV is an international gathering of university students, which since 1968 the Institute for University Cooperation (ICU) sponsors in Rome. Each year, several thousand students spend Holy Week in Rome, profiting from the cultural and historical riches that the Eternal City has to offer. Throughout the week, ICU provides students with various cultural encounters, conferences, roundtables, showrooms and concerts. all of these activities are occasions to delve more deeply into important matters relevant to the university, highlighting particularly the spirit of service towards those who are most in need.

Kam Him promotes value formation and character development.
Young women achieve this through fostering personal growth in generosity, self-dignity, responsibility; industriousness, amiability, maturity and solidarity in search of excelence at school and in daily life. Through a positive peer influence and mentor programme, these values, ethics and virtues are instilled even more.

YouthCom (Youth for the Community) is a program organized by Kam Him Centre to awaken the social service initiative of the youth. Yearly, they go on social outreach projects and leadership camps providing services to the underprivileged both in and outside Hong Kong. Through cross-cultural exchange in an enjoyable, relaxed setting and in an environment of friendship, trust and initiative.

The spiritual guidance of the activities run by Kam Him Centre is entrusted to Opus Dei, a Catholic institution founded by Saint Josemaría Escrivá, whose mission is to help people turn their work and daily activities into occasions for growing closer to God, for serving others, and for improving society. Opus Dei complements the work of local churches by offering classes, talks, retreats and pastoral care that help people develop their personal spiritual life and apostolate.
St Josemaría has always taught that a Christian should do all honest human work, be it intellectual or manual, with the greatest human perfection (professional competence) and with Christian perfection (for love of God’s will and service to mankind). The spirit of St Josemaría has inspired thousands of people to make their work serve the spiritual and material good of their fellow-citizens.
