This Tuesday (24th February 2015 ), the UK's House of Lords will vote on the plans. So, time is short!

If the House of Lords approve, the UK will become the only country in the world to allow the creation of 'genetically-modified' children.

This is a huge step – and means that the genetic code will be permanently altered and passed down to future generations. No-one can predict what the consequences will be.

We believe that this is a global issue, not just an issue for the UK.

We would therefore urge you, wherever you are in the world, to contact as many members of the House of Lords as possible, asking them to oppose the plans – or at least delay them.

Your message(s) only needs to be short.

But, please try to put things in your own words where you can.

If you live outside the UK, please include your name and address – and explain that you are taking this unusual step because these proposals affect the entire human race, not just the UK.

Please contact as many members of the House of Lords as you can – but please address and send them individually.
