Paray-le-Monial: In 1673 and for the following year and half, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque received visions of Christ. In response to them, she worked diligently to foster devotion to the Sacred Heart. St. Margaret's feast day is October 16 while the solemnity of the Sacred Heart is in June.
