Double-speech: After the Pope’s visit to the Roman synagogue, the Osservatore Romano published an article by Anna Foa, a Roman Jewish historian. Foa calls the document issued last December by the Vatican Commission for Religious Relations With the Jews an “unprecedented breach”. Quote: “I don’t think that it is a change of little consequence that the Church has altogether given up on the mission to the Jews.” Gloria.tv adds that this conclusion is not supported by the literal meaning of the text, rather by the double-speech and the misleading formulations which it uses extensively.

Jewish Reservations: Many Roman Jews have noticed this. Foa explains: “On the Jewish side the answer is not clear, and many reservations emerge through the cautiousness of the words.” Foa asks: “Are these reserves only due to the fact that the theological discourse seems incomprehensible to most people?”

Secularization: Christopher Kaczor [= Kazor] who teaches philosophy at Jesuit Loyola Maymount University in Los Angeles predicts that LMU will lose its Catholic identity – quote – “within a generation” if the administration continues hiring non-Catholic professors. Less than a fourth of the 392 professors of LMU are Catholic. Kaczor writes on CatholicWorldReport.com: “This dearth of Catholic faculty will soon worsen, because the most senior faculty who are due to retire, are almost all Catholic.”

Radical Cardinal Walter Kasper has claimed that conscientious objection against laws that regulate immigration is legitimate. In an interview with the radical daily La Repubblica he explained that the laws of the state are not the ultimate criterion to be a Christian. Kasper who as a former German professor and bishops has a monthly pension around 10’000 Dollars also asks others, for instance the parishes, to accommodate families of emigrants.
