A Hero: Pope Francis has quickly accepted the resignation of archbishop André-Joseph Léonard of Mechelen-Brussel. A former professor of moral theology, Léonard was a courageous and intelligent defender of the Faith. For this he was hated by the media and the liberal bishops allied with them. Although a friendly and pleasant character, he was more than once physically attacked by haters of the Church. For Gloria.tv it is a shame that Léonard was not yet made a Cardinal.
Removed: In April onepeterfive.com published a video by the Los Angeles filmmaker Michael Chang. It is entitled “A Letter From the People of the Cross to Isis.” The video offers an uplifting, loving, courageous and beautiful Christian response to the members of ISIS who have been slaughtering Christians. Nevertheless, youtube.com removed the video for alleged “inappropriate content”.
Good For the Church: Trevin Wax explains in The Aquila Report that homosex pseudo-marriage is good for the Church because it gives her an opportunity – quote – “to show the world the difference between commitment based on feeling and a covenant based on faith. The absence of a marriage culture will make biblical marriage stand out all the more.” Wax adds: “It’s time we recognized we are no longer the “moral majority” and embrace our identity as the “missionary minority.”
Last Sunday, Father Onyeka and his younger brother were killed by armed robbers in the Ondo State in Nigeria. They were travelling on a Toyota Highlander Jeep when the robbers came out of the bush and started shooting sporadically at their car. The bullets hit the petrol tank of the vehicle which caught fire. The brothers were burned alive. They were on their way to visit members of their family.

One of Syria's most senior Catholic leaders has pleaded the Western powers for a full scale intervention in the country's five year conflict, following another attack on rebel-held Aleppo.
In an impassioned plea sent to Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need, Melkite Greek Catholic Archbishop Jean-Clement Jeanbart said nobody was hurt in the latest bombardment, which comes on top of blasts which over the past two years have damaged five of the Melkites' 12 churches in the city.
Aleppo has seen some of the worst fighting in the conflict that erupted in the wake of the 2011 Arab Spring, with forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and rebel groups battling it out for supremacy and large sections of the city reduced to rubble.
"ISIS, which has already killed thousands in the region, is terrifying the faithful in Aleppo," said Archbishop Jean-Clement Jeanbart.
"After [attacks on] Maloula, Mosul, Idleb and Palmyra, what is the West waiting for before it intervenes?
"What are the great nations waiting for before they put a halt to these monstrosities?
May all of those who believe in... God and all those with compassion for the innocent raise their voice with us and call on civilized countries to take action to bring about peace."
On Tuesday , the United States accused the Syrian military of carrying out air strikes to help Islamic State fighters advance around the northern city of Aleppo, according to messages posted on the U.S. Embassy Syria official Twitter feed.
Vast numbers of people of all faiths are fleeing the region, with reports from Chaldean Bishop Antoine Audo last month that Aleppo's 250,000 Christians have dwindled to below 100,000.<<<

Western politicians including the Roman officials do nothing to insert a military help for the persecuted Christians.
It´s enough that they seduce the masses with disgusting themes, to abuse religion for political purposes.
Therefore it´s only important for them to work together, but they leave the persecuted Christians in danger of death.
This is no less sickening cruelty as this cruel war.
But the Word of God can not be broken, and also not the Law of sowing and reaping.
