Polis Institute is a non-profit academic institution whose goal is to promote ancient and Semitic languages. It offers language courses throughout the world and a Master's program in Ancient Philology at its headquarters in Jerusalem.
M.A. in Near Eastern Languages (2 years)
Students of this program will study ancient and modern languages of the Near East along with its history, religions, literature, and cultures.
A one year program is also available.
This programs consists of intensive language courses (Hebrew, Arabic, Aramaic, and Syriac), both ancient and modern, and courses on history, religion, literature, and societies of the ancient and contemporary Near-East.
