Pope Leo XIII, of holy memory, once wrote: if the laws of the State are manifestly at variance with the Divine Law...truly, to resist becomes a positive duty, to obey, a crime. The Supreme Court decision known as, Obergefell v. Hodges (June 26, 2015), cannot overturn the absolute and immutable laws of nature. In fact, we, like that county clerk, Kim Davis, jailed for standing up for the Higher Law of God, ought to be in contempt of this court...to be contemptuous of the Supreme Court that plays god and mocks the Divine Order of things. The same court that “legalized” the murder of the unborn, now tells us that two men can wed. Do we really think that these justices have any legitimacy? If you think she is a person who is in God's grace, then you must also believe that it is possible to divorce, re-marry and yet not be in mortal sin.
