Louella, what has a Somalian refugee dancing on the high altar in the “Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore” have to do with the Caliphate? There are lots of crazy people walking around the cities of Europe! That Somalian man should stop chewing “khat / jaad”, or better still, be detained under Italian state provisions for the psychiatrically ill. Incidentally, my brother had to escort a mentally ill woman from the sanctuary of his local church when the woman started to recite incoherent words whilst making meaningless gestures over the altar.

Another thing can be said of this situation...if all Churches had the traditional Latin Mass, with the altar where it should be, the chances of some kook wanting to show his dancing (in)abilities would have less of a chance in doing so.

We still haven't seen the worse. And all those disobedient pastors and bishops out there trying to give the faithful a hard time when they express their desire for this beautiful and Holy Mass, will have to answer for it. These liberals have to go!

I used a bit of hyperbole in my post but, nevertheless, there needs to be immediate consequences to such outrageous and blasphemous actions. The reason is to send a clear signal to the next “Michael Jackson” wanna be who may be considering dancing on a Catholic altar or some other equally vile act.

Ours is a world governed by the aggressive use of force. I'm not making a value judgment but simply stating a fact. That's not what many want to hear but history tells the story.

This is unbelievable! When I travel in other countries, I try to be very careful and respect the culture of that particular country - and if I go to see a shrine, even more so! Goodness, what a stupid man! However, I'm not sure if thi so called 'good, ol' fashion, South Side Chicago, ghetto whoop az' would be the answer, then violence leeds to violence. (Although the gut feeling and first reaction would be more-or-less that...)
