First of all I call myself a "BELIEVER" not a Catholic. Why because Christ and his followers were called "BELIEVERS" not Christians. If Christ wanted them called Christians they never would have been called BELIEVERS. Peter and John worked many miracles via GOD's intervention. If Christ wanted them called Christians they never would have been called BELIEVERS. Peter and John worked many miracles via GOD's intervention. Things have changed since the time of the Apostles and GOD isn't happy with those changes or there would be miracles happening like they happened for Apostles.
As far as creating the world in 7 days, you WRONGLY ASSUME GOD used our earthy calendar BEFORE the sun and earth existed. Not that GOD couldn't do it in a second if HE wanted. Peter says (2 Peter 3:8) To GOD a day is like 1,000 year. The same can be found in Psalm 90:3 A 1,000 years are but as yesterday to you.
So tell me how long do you think it should have taken GOD to cure a blind man, a lame man or a person with a bleeding disorder. GOD did it in a blink of an eye. So why couldn't HE create the world in seven days.
As far as the the books of the bible that Moses wrote about things that happened years before he was ever born, they were inspired by GOD. GOD doesn't think and/or teach like man. Christ also taught the inspired word of GOD, His teachings involved parables. We have a lot more information on Christ and his teachings than we have on Moses. That being said, I believe that most of the stories Moses recorded in the bible are also parables. Adam and Eve represents civilization.
No sense addressing all your issues here. GOD didn't make me a great writer. If HE wanted me to write HIS messages HE would given me the skills to do it or helpers to record the messages HE gives ms.
