Vatican / SSPX
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has recently sent a letter with a final offer to the Society of Saint Pius X. It urges the society to resume the dialogue with the Holy See by February 22, or else the Holy See will make an offer of reconciliation and full communion to individual SSPX priests. It is unclear which kind of offer the Congregation has in mind. The blog Rorate Caeli comments: We can only wonder how things would be like if dissenting liberal theological faculties and the individual heretics teaching in them were approached by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith with the same diligence and focus.

Pope Benedict the XVI began to ponder his resignation after last year's pilgrimage to Cuba and Mexico, the Italian newspaper la Stampa confirms. According to one of his escorting prelates on March 25th on the morning of his last day at Leon the Pope had blood in his hair as he stood up. He said he didn't fell down but he had hit his head against the lavatory. According to the anonymous prelate it was at times difficult for the pope to find the light switch during night in a new place. The injury didn't cause serious consequences. The prelate said that in the evening of that day he heard the Papal doctor saying to the Pope: You see Your Holiness, why am I so critical about these trips? The Pope must have answered: I am also very critical about them.

Liberal Bishop Kieran Conry of Arundel and Brighton made recently a comment on the pontificate of Pope Benedict the XVI. According to him the Pope allegedly over-centralised the Catholic Church during his pontificate. The second reproach was that he led the Church away from some of the reforming ideals of the Second Vatican Council. As an evidence to that Conry gave the new English Mass translation which – according to him - had a negative impact on many Catholics in the pews.

Archbishop Georg Ganswein will move with Pope Benedict XVI when he retires on Feb. 28. However he also intends to retain his role as head of the Papal Household. Mgr Gänswein was named in this function on last December 7th, that means in the time, when the Pope already must have made the decision to leave. Vatican Insider fears a situation when Gänswein will be the right hand of the new Pope while being still at the service of the old one.

Leone - The Vatican is already aware how important it is to have heretics & dissenters return back to full communion to the Church.
Holy Mother Church is also aware how their return to full communion can not be had on anyone's terms but Her own.

Let us instantly pray that the Vatican may understand how important it is for the Church to have the SSPX in full communion with the Holy See. 👌
