Holy simplicity: The Filipino inquirer.net has praised an Old Rite wedding that took places at the San Pedro Apostol Parish Church in the San Pedro town in Laguna. Quote: “Without the usual wedding frivolities, they exchanged vows—in Spanish—in the Mozarabic Rite of Toledo held on their 14th anniversary as a couple.” The wedding lasted for one hour. Only then were the newlyweds allowed to enter the church. Quote: “No pompous entourage or large crowd of well-wishers greeted the couple as they walked down the aisle, side by side with the priest for the Tridentine Mass, which lasted for an additional hour.”
