A very good analisis of situation in the Catholic church not only on the West, but also on the East. Probably only Poland and maybe Africa is a little different. Similar situation "two churches" is inside of Orhodox Church and inside of evangelical denomination. On the top places are mostly "accepted". The "authentic" are mostly on the bottom. It was similar when our Lord Jesus Christ came the firstly on our Earth. Believers on the top places did not accepted him. Maybe Christ's second coming will be similar. 😇

Perhaps we should be careful when we refer to Catholics as "conservative " or "liberal". These are political names used to denote the relative position of a person in politically relative society. Perhaps Catholics should be referred to in religious terms, faithful and ......?

The Second Vatican Council firmly declares that such scandalous and unfaithful people are "not being saved", they are in the Church in a bodily manner only and are "more severely judged." (cf. Lumen Gentium 14).
