Francis is 'kicked away one of the bulwark beliefs of the sex-obsessed hierarchy in the old Church'

The Francis effect:

Irish Central notes:
Francis weds couples ‘living in sin’ – contraception next?
Francis continues to amaze. He married 20 couples on Sunday in Rome several of them “living in sin” having had children outside marriage.
Patrick Roberts continues:
In marrying them he kicked away one of the bulwark beliefs of the sex-obsessed hierarchy in the old church, the belief that sex outside marriage was a heinous and immoral act.
All of us Irish Catholics grew up with that unfortunate characterization of those who did not conform to the absolute orthodoxy of only having sex and children within marriage.
All others were fallen sinners. This led to some mighty hypocrisy on all sides as fallen men and women were considered far below the virtuous few – most of whom on closer scrutiny were not such virtuous souls.
It seems likely that contraception could be next. Francis is nothing but a realist, and over 90 percent of Catholic couples use contraception.

This Francis effect does not promote the will of God and is contrary to the 10 Commandments as well as to what Scripture and history teach us.
1 Thessalonians 4: 3, 8
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from fornication.
8 So the person who refuses to obey this teaching is disobeying God, not simply a human teaching. And God is the One who gives us his Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 13:4
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the immoral and adulterous.

Confusion is the name of the game this days, Mr. Socci is right, there's nothing but only darkness in the Vatican this days, but that is a sensible topic everywhere I go because the person enforcing all of this is a living saint they say!

One added thought: If sex outsight of marriage is being lessened in importance, could it not be that there is a carry over to "no sex" inside the priesthood. If sex becomes too trivalized in its importance, what is the big deal with celibacy of priests?

Here is a perfect example, why the way the ceremony was intentionally reported is so harmful to the faith.
The Diocese of Rome reports freely and publically on the sinful state of the relationships of the couples to be married, prior to the marriage ceremony. No mention is made as to whether they were reconciled before they received the Sacrament.

The public could have just as easily been told that the Pope was to marry 20 happy couples in St. Peters. That would have been a beautiful event right there. Full Stop

That was not the intent though. The Diocese of Rome makes it a point to describe their sinful relationships; to make that the focal point. Full Stop

Now dissidents can embrace the Pope`s actions as the person related in this article.
Meanwhile Catholics that love the Bride of Christ can tear each other apart, trying to find the root of this obvious evil.

Now we Again have confusion, and disorientation in the secular world, and with the marginal catholic society, confusion on what is acceptable; while practicing Catholics are divided even more...Diabolical!

Question: Did the couples to be married make use of Confession before the ceremoney or did they utter no repentance? If the first alternative is the case, Pope Francis did not place in jeopardy the traditional view. If the second alternative is the case, well he did make former Catholic (and Orthodox and some Protestant denominations) doctrine problematic.

Comment: "Sex outside of marriage", if accepted, will not long remain merely a pre-marital "outside marriage", but transmorph, as it already has, say, here in Germany, into sexual activity between two persons who care or "love" each other, i.e., until interest is lost and a new partner is sought. Serial partnership then become a reality as normal sex. Sex within a "loving" relationship, however limited, will not long remain the final derivative of "outside marriage", rather soon simply sex between two consenting persons will suffice. (I would wager that contraception, both preventive and remedial, i.e., abortion, will soon follow.) In logic, who say A, must say B .... and for that matter C, D, E, etc.
