Thanks, Rope. I didn't hear it till now. If this is the best man the ruling class could come up with, the American Catholic Church will continue to be in deep trouble.

St. Francis is well known as a homosexual parish where Mass can be an embarrassment to those who don't enjoy same sex acting out at the "kiss" of peace or watching rainbow sashers sashaying up to Communion. (Couldn't resist the pun.) Archbishop Dolan's actions at the rededication and his statements later do not encourage optimism among faithful Catholics fighting the scourges of same sex marriage and the sodomite lifestyle.

All kidding aside...Can you imagine if the apostles and all the saints walked into our churches today, especially during the novus ordo mass? And to witness the mini-skirted, low cut tops worn by some women while parading around in the sanctuary? And everyone and their grandpa handling the Sacred Species. And avowed and public homosexuals going up to receive Communion?? Pray for all priests,...pray for the Pope.

Why did Arch. Dolan permit this?

Not only permit, he particapated in the LGBT festivities at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in NY.

It's a good question, Rope. Why did any of them allow criminal sexual abuse to occur for so long and then compound the crime after the fact by harboring and reassigning those responsible for the abuse?

Given what appears in this video, it will be many years, perhaps decades, before the Catholic Church recovers her moral authority and respectability that she once had both here and throughout the world. I will not tolerate any excuse for those in the ruling class, like Archbishop Dolan, who equivocate and dissemble in an obvious attempt to protect their own backsides.

I have a dream that may someday come true. That dream is that the Spirit of St. Peter returns to our Church and that finally we will have a leader/s who has/have the courage, the will and the power to take care of business. Until then, I'm afraid that the 'ruling class' in our Church will be content to simply stay afloat in a sea of mediocrity.

Speaking of Archbishop Sheen, could you imagine him demeaning his office by doing something like this?

Why did Arch. Dolan permit this? Fear of reprisal? Is he suppose to be an apostle, a shepherd leading the flock of God? How can you lead, teach, and be an example of the true faith while saluting on Sodomites within the Church; condoning their "choice" of living in an Unnatural, Perverse and Abominable way? Sin is Sin, and the so called "shepherds" are allowing this Sin openly as though Sodomy is accepted and welcomed within the Church. And for parents of school age children...This is a strong message for you,.... to understand that this so-called "tolerance" of Sin is in and HAS BEEN pushed and promoted as Normal in Catholic schools as well as public. If I were to teach children today it would be at Home or in a Traditional Catholic setting Only.

In today's Church bulletin; it was noted that next week the churches in the diocese will be taking a collection for the CCHD, (The Catholic Campaign For Human Development... please,... EVERYONE, watch Michael Voris's video on where YOUR monies are going for this! It is informational, while very disturbing, and ALL Catholics Need to view it. For myself, I down outright REFUSE to contribute! And until all Catholics do the same, only then, maybe we'll stand a chance of leading Our Church back to the true faith.

Remember what Archbishop Sheen said:

"Who is going to save our Church? Not the bishops Nor the priests, it is up to the people."

Hopefully, the defenders of Archbishop Dolan will post their thoughts on this thread. I promise you, I will not cowardly delete your posts but I will refute them to the best of my ability providing additional supportive facts.
