No Conversion: When Pope Francis was Cardinal of Buenos Aires he advised his close friend, the evangelical preacher Tony Palmer, not to become a Catholic although Palmer had expressed his desire to convert to the Church. “We need to have bridge-builders”, the then cardinal told Palmer – according to the Boston Globe. Palmer died on Sunday 20th July after injuries sustained in a motorbike accident.
The Picture: Nicaragua Communist Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann, a Maryknoll priest, said his first Mass in 29 years this week after Pope Francis reinstated his priestly ministry. D’Escoto was suspended from his priestly duties by John Paul II in 1985 for refusing to renounce his position in the revolutionary Sandinista government. And pray always in all concerns with prayers and supplication in the spirit, and keep watch with all enduring and supplication for all the Saints..." Ephesians 6,11-18

After 29 years of absence, d'Escoto obviously does not know anymore how to say Mass. This unfortunately confirms the impression that the liberal party gets away with anything while the Catholic wing is punished for being Catholic (cf. Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate). This impression is detrimental to the reputation of Pope Francis.
