You brought to light a point that explains Christ words, "Your faith has made you well." I assumed Christ meant his bold request to be healed or his cries, "Jesus! Son of David! Have mercy on me!"

Now I BELIEVE it was his act of giving away everything he had and following Jesus. His cloak would have had all the money he owned in the world on it but he gave it up and chased Jesus. Mark captured the important actions of Bartimaeus, that were missed by Matthew and Luke that being throwing away his cloak and money.

Since Bartimaeus knew enough about Jesus to call him son of David and to ask for mercy, I got to BELIEVE that he also heard stories of Jesus telling a rich man that he should give away everything he had and follow him. Bartimaeus, had done exactly that. Now he's ready to follow Jesus and he has the faith that deserves a miracle.

GOD help us to have that kind of faith. When and if we do we just might see and experience more miracles.
