Spanish Bishop allows ‘Transgender’ Godparent
A Spanish Bishop has backtracked on his stance to deny a transgender woman living as a man her petition to be a godparent.
Bishop Rafael Zornoza Boy of Cádiz and Ceuta reversed his decision last week less than two weeks after saying twenty-one-year-old Alex Salinas could be a spiritual godparent to her nephew, but that she was not suitable as a godparent.
