Fr. Alejandro Crosthwaite, OP
Public Relations Officer
As the Angelicum's public relations officer, Fr. Alejandro Crosthwaite, OP, reports to the Academic Authorities of the University and is responsible for coordinating University initiatives, and overseeing communications, external relations and special events.

Fr. Alejandro Crosthwaite, OP is Associate (Aggregato) Professor of Catholic Social Teaching, Social & Political Ethics, and Media Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences; Director of the Ethical Leadership in International Politics & Business Program; Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Theology and the Mater Ecclesiae Institute; and Public Relations Officer at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, Italy. Fr. Crosthwaite completed his doctoral studies in Theology and Society at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI (2006), concentrating in Political Ethics and Catholic Social Thought as well as Mass Media studies focusing on the interaction between public theology, culture, film and social transformation. On June 3, 2010, Crosthwaite obtained his License in Sacred Theology (STL) from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas focusing on "Globalization in Light of Catholic Social Teaching." On February 7, 2011, Prof. Crosthwaite was granted tenure (docente stabili) with the rank of Associate Professor (aggregato) in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Prof. Crosthwaite is currently a member of the Society of Christian Ethics, The Catholic Theological Society of America, the American Academy of Religion, and The Society for the Study of Christian Ethics (U.K.), and Societas Ethica (E.U.). He is the author of several lectures and articles on the social and political thought of St. Thomas Aquinas, Latin American & Latino/a social and political ethics, and Media Studies.
