Jerusalem: Churches to Pray for Reconciliation.
On Saturday September 25 at 3pm, the Armenian Orthodox Church in Jerusalem will host the Fourth Extraordinary Prayer of All Churches for Reconciliation, Unity and Peace at its cathedral of St. James.
The Mother Church, that a short time ago called on all Christians around the world to join with the faithful in insistent and joyful intercessionary prayer every Saturday at 6pm local time, is holding an extra special prayer day this coming Saturday.
The purpose of this initiative is to promote in our time a great intercessory prayer to God the Father among all Christians. It is based on the belief that communion between the Churches in prayer is a prerequisite because the Lord listens and that this communion will greatly boost the Church's spiritual strength.
