It's about time.
I would hope that that they change the nun laws on marriage too. We need to encourage more woman to become nuns than we need to encourage men to be priests. It's the loss of nuns in the Catholic School System that's reducing the faith training of the Catholic Youth and that's leading to the decline in church attendance. Nuns also made Catholic Schools more affordable and that made it easier for Catholic families to send their children to Catholic schools.
The Catholic Church has to start changing a lot faster. The current world we live in changes much to fast for the Catholic Church's system for deciding changes. If the church can't change fast enough it'll die a quick death.
