A story recently published in both European and American news outlets (and at Gloria.TV) questioned the worthiness of Bishop Mixa of Augsburg, Germany in his prestigious appointment to The Pontifical Council for Health Care in the Vatican.

"One does have to be extra careful these days of intoxicating levels of media coverage of Church-Sin. This can lead to hallucinations, seeing the devil, in places where he is simply not to be found."

I rather think that, being 'burnt once twice shy', we the people can overdo the vigilance. But isn't this human nature, from our primative survival mechanisms? 🧐
