Unity Among Catholics: At yesterday’s Angelus, Pope Francis recalled the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Quote: “It is a bad thing that Christians are divided, Jesus wants us united, one body.” Gloria.tv believes that it is premature to bewail divisions among Christians as long as the divisions among Catholics are so deep.

Doves or Balloons? According to Associated Press balloons and not doves were released yesterday by Pope Francis as a gesture of peace after last year’s doves were attacked by a seagull and a crow. But English-speaking Radio Vatican has a different story. It knows nothing about the balloons and claims that the doves were released as usual and even shows a picture of the event. This same picture happens to be published with the Associated Press article but is identified there as a photo from last year’s event.

Another Conservative Bishop Gone: On Thursday Pope Francis accepted the resignation of the only 55-year-old Bishop Jean-Marie le Vert of Quimper, France. The reasons for this remain unclear. Already last May, Le Vert was removed by the Pope from his function – quote - "until further notice". He was ordained for the conservative community of St. Martin but left the group after his ordination. Rorate Caeli fears -a - quote: "massacre of conservative bishops" under Pope Francis.

On January 20, Oscar Andrés Cardinal Rodríguez Maradiaga, the coordinator of Pope Francis' Council of Cardinal Advisors, spoke at Santa Clara University in California about “The Church of Mercy with Pope Francis”. He said things like: “The Church is not here to judge, condemn, reproach or reject anybody but to embrace as in a home where love reigns for everybody who needs it.” Gloria.tv asks whether Rodríguez believes that it is wrong that the Church of our days has started so fiercly to judge, condemn, reproach and reject those priests who have committed sexual abuses.

Lucia, that is not how you pronounce the word 'dove' in English. I have many Ukrainian and Polish friends who make the same mistake. Thank you for the news!

"I, superbillionaire, just swimn in money, I buy the most fancy of things, I would not get near to filthy, ignorant, stupid, poor people going around begging for money. Can you imagine, begging for money? I would not give a cent to such despicable people. I am a fan of Pope Francis! mercy. Finally he and that gang called "The Merciful" have ceased judging, codemning, reproaching and rejecting ME and keep on embracing me. That is fine, but that slimy bishop from the backstreets of Calcutta, s dirty thing, literally wants to embrace me and whisper that he, and God too, love me. If the Pope has mercy, get the bum off my neck, or pay for the cleaning bill of a soiled shirt. That other guy, you know, Cardinal or joker, you know that guy with the long Spanish name like ..uh, Carummba of Marummba or whatever, is no nice, and has me that old-fashion thing of mine, called a soul , will receive his love and God's love because there is NO judging. Why is that the Good News? Because I need it and my pal Maradiaga is so nicely merciful".

I challenge, Cardinal Maradiaga or anyone from the Church of Nice (as that evil Voris calls it) to deny that the above conversation just reported does not fall within the meaning and semantic implication parameters of Maradiaga's words! If the conversation cannot be shown to be at exclusionary variance with the semantic meaning entailed in the words of Maradiaga, Francis & Co, then I, the writer of this silly commentary, have problems. Note, EXCLULIONARY variance! What is the importance? Because any coherence between the billionaire's meaning and the meaning entailed in Maradiaga's words means that the Church represented by Maradiaga is at exclusionary variance with the traditional Church doctine I learned. Conlusion: Either Cardinal Maradiaga is a heretic or I am a heretic! See how sinful I am because I reject, reproach, condemn, judge and do not love the Church of Nice! He or me! And you?
