Planned Parenthood recently opened in Houston the largest abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere. In response to it the pro-life group Unite for Life – Houston is organizing a major event in the city on Saturday October 23rd. Eduardo Verastegui, the Mexican actor who starred in the pro-life film “Bella,” will be the keynote speaker at the event. The newly opened abortion facility will perform abortions up to the 25th week of pregnancy.

The world’s tallest statue of Christ is nearing completion in Swiebodzin, a western Polish city of 22,000 inhabitants. Begun in 2008 and over 100 feet tall, the statue was designed by Father Sylwester Zawadzki, a local priest.
