On the fifth anniversary of the Pontificate of Benedict XVI, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano offered His Holiness a concert performed by Orchestra Italian Youth conducted by Maestro Nicola Paszkowski on the afternoon of April 29. Symphony No. 3 by Giovanni Battista Sammartini, Symphony No. 38 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Symphony, No. 4 by Ludwig van Beethoven were all performed. After the concert, held in Paul VI Hall, the Holy Father thanked President Napolitano, the authorities and the present musicians, recalling how the study of music is of high value in education of the person, because it encourages harmonious human and spiritual growth.
