ITS A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD!!
My brothers and sisters: I have been bloging about the analogy of the Catholic Church, and the comedy The MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD, for months now. This movie, popped into my mind, when I have tried to witness, what it was like for me, to find the Catholic Church, and I kept thinking of this silly movie. Look at the cast of Zany Characters. In my mind, they are separated brothers, or athiests, or muslims....you name it all running around half crazy trying to find, the TRUTH WHICH IS CHRIST. The Big W, the palm trees, in the movie, is the Catholic Church, right in front of all to see...now I believe, brothers and sisters, the Evangelizing fields, in our Great nation are truly ripe, all we have to do, is lead those separated brothers, and lost souls, to the Big W.....and the rest will fall into place!!!!!!!!!!!! Substitute, the Palm trees, for the Church, and the Treasure for Christ, and you will see, why the Holy Spirit, led me, to this favorite movie of mine, after so many years!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brother Ross!!! We must got towards the W!!!! lol..great analogy...but only one thing...now i want to see the WHOLE movie!!! You have peaked my interest and the screen writer for this movie is William Rose and I could not find his relgious background for anything.....I tried!! :) I really do want to see this movie now though....and look it made the front page!!

This movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. I have watched it since childhood-I have memories watching it dating back to the late 1960's! It had not only a great cast but tons of cameo appearances by stars like Jerry Lewis, The Three Stooges, Jack Benny-etc-the list is huge. Spencer Tracy also starred in this and it was one of his last pictures for he died 4 years after this film was made …More
This movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. I have watched it since childhood-I have memories watching it dating back to the late 1960's! It had not only a great cast but tons of cameo appearances by stars like Jerry Lewis, The Three Stooges, Jack Benny-etc-the list is huge. Spencer Tracy also starred in this and it was one of his last pictures for he died 4 years after this film was made. "Rat Race" was the more recent film that stole the theme from this classic but this movie by far is the best. It is a very good analogy made by Brother Ross here-the Truth is right there just waiting to be recognized.

Elisha: There is more to this, than meets the eye, the Holy Spirit, revealed this to me....and it wouldn't surprise me, if the writer, or producer, whoever made the movie, was Catholic.......there is a really hidden spirituallity, to this zany movie.......I'm glad you like it....

While our separated brothers and sisters seem to fight each other, The Truth can always be found by someone with childlike innocence. And the Eternal Bride is right there in front of us as the rock.
