The parishioners questioned his decision to staff the parish with three priests from the Traditional Society of Jesus Christ the Priest, a community founded by a Spanish priest, Father Alfonso Gálvez. Morlino invited members of the society to begin serving in the diocese already in 2006. The society has a special mission to encourage young men to enter the seminary.
