The Pope was welcomed by the founder of the Community, Andrea Riccardi, and chairman Marco Impagliazzo, accompanied by a gypsy woman and an immigrant from Senegal, and then the bishop of Terni, Vincenzo Paglia, Archbishop Luigi Moretti.
