Foul language: Famous British Opera producer, Sir Cameron Mackintosh was slammed after using foul language in an eulogy at a catholic funeral. Mackintosh uttered the words “fornicating p***k” and “s***e”. An 80-year-old mourner said: “In the old days, people would have dragged him outside and choked the life out of him for using such language in the church.” The phrases came actually from a letter two German tourists left to the deceased after a falling out.

A bishop? A British church-man commended confession while addressing leaders of different churches - including archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster - about divisions between Christians. – Quote: “Confession is enormously powerful and hideously painful when it's done properly ... it's really horrible when you go to see your confessor - I doubt you wake up in the morning and think, this is going to be a bunch of laughs. It's really uncomfortable. But through it God releases forgiveness and absolution and a sense of cleansing." O, by the way, the church-man’s name was Justin Welby, the present Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury.

No to “Allah”: An appeals panel ruled Monday that the Herald, a Malaysian Catholic newspaper, could not use "Allah" to refer to God, in a case that sparked attacks on Catholic churches three years ago. "It is our common finding that the usage of the name 'Allah' is not an integral part of the faith and practice of Christianity" – said the head of the three-judge panel. Herald editor Father Lawrence Andrew said the ruling was flawed, noting that "Allah" has been used extensively in Malay-language versions of the Bible for decades without trouble.

On October 6th Christian Jerusalemites walked to the Latin parish cemetery on Mount Zion to protest the frequent desecration of holy sites and places of worship by Jewish settlers. The cemetery was vandalized on the 1st of October by extremists who sprayed racist graffiti on the walls and desecrated the tombs. In a statement the Christians called these acts of racism, as part of a series of attacks against Christian and Islamic shrines committed by a group marked by hatred whose main goal is to accelerate the Judaization of the Holy City or to drive out its own inhabitants.

I used a few salty words in church once but it was during the handshake of peace. The annoying p***k kept pushing his hand toward me so he deserved it.

Although it's not an expression I would use, “fornicating p***k” is at least comprehensible (In the eulogy, Mac ( who has had the worldwide hits of Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera and who has provided 100s of thousands of pounds to charitable causes) actually used the expression “f***ing pr**k which is something I've used from time to time but never in church).

However, what in the world is a “s***e”?
The only “s***e” I know of is skype.
