Venerated the Holy Shroud in Turin, on May 23, 2015, after having venerated Saint John Bosco and Mary Help of Christians, the same morning. Later, we went to the Sacra di San Michele. On May 22, first day of pilgrimage, visited the Church of the Virgin of Miracles in Saronno,(Santuario della Beata Vergine dei Miracoli), and then the Church of San Sisto, Piacenza, before staying with the Scalabrinian Missionary Sisters near Piacenza. Finally, on May 24 celebrated Pentecost in the Piacenza Cathedral, where the mortal remains of Blessed Giovanni Battista Scalabrini are kept.
By the way, the people of Piacenza would like to have their original copy of the Sistine Madonna back, after it was sold to the Germans, and is now in a museum in Dresden: Sistine Madonna.
