PRELUDE TO CHRISTMAS Part 2
Features the beautiful Christmas Pastoral Symphony. The annual concert "A Prelude to Christmas" held its 20th edition on the 17th December 2010 at St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta, the capital city of Malta, in aid of Richmond Foundation. This concert is held In collaboration with The St John's Co-Cathedral,
It was performed by The Amadeus Chamber Choir & Orchestra under the direction of Mro Brian Cefai and Mro Michelle Castelletti. Twenty three musical selections were presented.

The Amadeus Chamber Choir:
Since its inception in January 1990, the Amadeus Chamber Choir, under the direction of Mro Brian Cefai, has established an enviable reputation. Its repertoire is very vast, ranging from 16th century polyphonic to contemporary music.
The Choir has held concerts in various localities on the Maltese islands and abroad such as England, Scotland, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Sicily and Poland.
St. John's Co-Cathedral :
located in Valletta, Malta, was built by the Knights of Malta between 1573 and 1578, having been commissioned in 1572 by Grand Master Jean de la Cassière as the conventual church of the Order of the Knights Hospitaller of St John, known as the Knights of Malta. The Church was designed by the Maltese military architect Glormu Cassar who designed several of the more prominent buildings in Valletta.Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas.
Richmond Foundation:
It's a non-governmental, non profit making organization found in in 1993. It endeavours to provide optimal community mental health services that promote mental wellbeing, address the prevention of mental health problems and provide support or good quality of life to those who experience mental health problems.
