Gloria.TV News on the 12th of September 2013
On Wednesday, the Roman newspaper La Repubblica published a personal letter of Pope Francis to the former fascist and later leftwing anticlerical journalist and atheist Eugeno Scalfari. In his letter the Pope alleged that church “can never be grateful enough” to the Jews for preserving their faith. The pope claimed further that God’s mercy reaches non-believers too, for whom sin would not be the lack of faith in God, but rather failure to obey one’s conscience.
