There are many who do not believe that there is a real crisis in the Church today, but here is the sad proof. We have everything at stake, and nothing can be taken for granted. No wonder our Lady of Lourdes told Saint Bernadette,"Penance,penance,penance!" Let us take this to heart,and pray without ceasing, because yes, everything is at stake. "As voyagers over the dark, stormy and turbulent seas which have engulfed the Barque of Peter throughout this post-conciliar period in Church history, let us keep our eyes ever fixed on Mary, the Star of the Sea, stella maris.
