Bishop Emanuel Shaleta, 60, of the Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of St. Peter the Apostle of San Diego, California, was arrested on Thursday at San Diego International Airport while attempting to leave the United States, reports NBCSanDiego.com. The arrest followed a months-long investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Fraud Unit. Authorities say Shaleta will face eight counts of embezzlement, eight counts of money laundering, and an aggravated white-collar crime enhancement. The investigation began in August after a church representative from St. Peter Chaldean Church in El Cajon reported suspected financial misconduct. Investigators say more than $427,000 in church funds may be missing, possibly as much as $1 million. Rental payments from a church-owned property were reportedly taken in cash and never deposited, with the missing money later replaced by checks drawn from a charity account intended for the poor. Russian Permanent Representative Vassily Nebenzia delivered a pointed address to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump on Monday as she presided over a landmark UN Security Council briefing on children and education in conflict. In a session marked by high diplomatic tension, Nebenzia accused Western powers of using child protection as a tool for "political manipulation" while hushing up alleged Ukrainian military strikes on Russian educational infrastructure in Belgorod and Donbass. Addressing Mrs. Trump directly, Nebenzia rejected international allegations regarding the transfer of Ukrainian children as "disinformation," instead highlighting the role of the Vatican and Qatar in family reunifications. The exchange underscored the deep geopolitical divide as the United States began its presidency of the Security Council for March 2026. The John-Henry Westen Show March 3, 2026 SAINTS vs ANTI-POPES: Medieval history prof REVEALS the battles Nearly 30 anti-popes have risen across two millennia of Church history. In times of deepest confusion, even saints found themselves on opposing sides. St. Catherine of Siena confronted cardinals backing a false pope. St. Vincent Ferrer supported the wrong claimant during the Western Schism. St. Bernard of Clairvaux rallied kings against a rival. None remained silent. Dr. Ed Mazza joins to walk through these battles from his book Saints Versus Anti-Popes, drawing the line from medieval crises to the present. The question now is not whether a pope can be a bad man; history is full of them. The question is whether a pope can formally teach heresy while exercising his authority. No saint or major theologian ever taught that. The discussion moves through Marian apparitions at Akita, the warnings of Malachi Martin, and the possibility of apostasy “at the top.” But the conclusion is not …More

Mar 6 Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops push for peace in the Middle East The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops have done the right thing in releasing a statement about the latest war in the Middle East. The bishops remind the faithful that the only answer to conflict is peace, diplomacy and prayer. In war, we're all defeated. Sadly, there are Christians and even a number of evangelical pastors who are telling their congregations to support the military operation against Iran. This is not the Christian answer. Trump fires Homeland Security Secretary Noem after mounting criticism over her leadership WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Thursday fired his embattled Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, after mounting criticism over her leadership of the department, including the handling of the administration’s immigration crackdown and disaster response. Trump, who said he would nominate in her place Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin, made the announcement on social media on Thursday, two days after Noem faced a grilling on Capitol Hill from GOP members as well as Democrats. Trump says he’ll make Noem a "Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas,” a new security initiative that he said would focus on the Western Hemisphere. Noem, took the stage to address a Department of Homeland Security event moments after Trump’s announcement but made no immediate mention of her ouster. Leo XIV’s revolutionary move: the man he has … The pontificate of Francis and the overreach of the Gendarmerie After the Vatileaks scandal, Benedict XVI himself appointed Sandro Mariotti, called to take Gabriele’s place. Pope Francis, once elected, immediately chose to add an extra person, selecting him from the Gendarmerie Corps of the Vatican City State. Some cardinals described it as a “reckless” choice, because the Gendarmerie has long been known in the Vatican as a parking place for many who are recommended by prelates and powerful figures. Access to that role, in fact, does not come through competitive examination or verified merit, but according to who puts someone forward and on criteria “unknown” to most. In this way, moreover, Francis wanted at his side precisely that corps which, before Bergoglio’s election, could not even enter the Apostolic Palace. Over the years, that choice has produced its results. We have seen the various scandals that have emerged: from …More

Pray for the conversion of Trump. He publicly stated he may not go to heaven which means he thinks he is going to hell. He is the Julian the Apostate of our time. If he comes into the Church he can save his soul. All those perverts in the Epstein network should know that they can become penitent perverts protected by the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Sacraments.
