Dec 14 Third Sunday of Advent We continue posting daily Advent reflections by the Church Fathers. It's a good way to prepare to celebrate Christmas. The reflections and quotations come from the book titled, Advent and Christmas with the Church Fathers by Marco Pappalardo. Introduction Let us recognize the Son of God in the Child of Bethlehem. Let us recognize him just as he revealed himself to the world through the eyes of faith: the faith with which Mary received him into her womb, the elderly Simeon saw him, and the widow Anna honored him. Let us recognize Jesus, true God and true man, through the gospel accounts, the apostolic tradition, the teachings of the Church, and the words and lives of the saints. St. Dec 13 One city in Canada gets the celebration of Christmas right The City of Vaughan, Ontario, gets it right as the councillors voted to display a Nativity Scene at the Vaughan City Hall. The idea is to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. That's good news, especially when …
14.12.2025 SEDEVACANTISTS MUST FORMALLY ASK WHY IS MCELROY ‘IN’ AND THEY ‘OUT’ WHEN THE COUNCIL IS TRADITIONAL How can Cardinal McElroy be a cardinal when he does not affirm Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Catechism of Pope Pius X and other Magisterial Documents, rationally and so honestly? Sedevacantists (CMRI), MHT MHFM etc) must ask at the Signatura and secular courts. Sedevacantists simply have to affirm the Council rationally and ask Pope Leo and the College of Cardinals to do the same. Why must they be kept outside the Church? They simply have to affirm the Creeds, rationally and so traditionally and tell the Vatican to do the same. They do not have to cite Bellarmine. The issue is Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Sedevacantists must legally ask how Cardinal McElroy or any cardinal can be appointed a cardinal, when the cardinal does not affirm Vatican Council II etc rationally. He should be out of the Church and not …More
In December, the Family Pastoral Service of the Diocese of Chiavari, Italy, published a booklet titled Non c’è un amore più grande (“There Is No Greater Love”). The diocese is run by Bishop Giampio Devasini. The publication presents a collection of autobiographical “Christian testimonies” of homosexuals and adulterers. Among the homosexuals are Marco and Michele: "We have been together since 2001." The two homosexuals are increasingly integrated into parish life, including participation in the parish choir and diocesan pastoral activities: "What was previously set aside because it was uncomfortable and difficult to testify to has now become a reason for commitment, to bring our experiences to others." They blame their lifestyle on God: "I believe that the ultimate goal of our work is to break down those walls of division that have always hindered the active participation of people belonging to the broad sphere of homoaffectivity in the life of the Church, under the love of the one …More
The Diocese of Chiavari in Italy has published a pastoral booklet presenting homosexual couples and civilly remarried divorcees as legitimate expressions of “Christian family.” Produced by the diocesan family ministry, the initiative prioritizes a subjective notion of love over Catholic doctrine on marriage and sexuality. The booklet includes testimonies from same-sex couples and irregular unions portrayed as fully integrated into Church life, prompting criticism for contradicting Church teaching. The bishop has not publicly addressed the issue, which critics see as part of a broader pastoral drift toward normalizing relationships contrary to Catholic moral doctrine.
Pope Leo XIV: “Authentic diplomacy is distinguished from self-interested calculations or a balance between rivals who hide their respective differences precisely by the ability to reach sincere agreements.”

Obviously an old post - it's too late to pray that Francis die "repentant." that ship has sailed. While true that ONLY God judges & knows, it doesn't look good from what information we have.
'What Australians actually got was a nationwide digital ID system. Starting December 10, every citizen logging into select online platforms must now pass through digital ID verification, biometric scans, face matching, and document checks, all justified as a way to keep under-16s off social media. Kids are now banned from certain platforms, but it’s the adults who must hand over their faces, IDs, and biometric data to prove they’re not kids. “Protecting children” has been converted into a universal surveillance upgrade for everyone.'
The Door of Humility: Entering the Place Where Christ Was Born — Church of the Nativity Bethlehem—whose name in Hebrew means “House of Bread”—holds a place of profound significance in the Christian world. It was here that Mary and Joseph found refuge in a stable, and where Mary gave birth to Jesus, ‘the Bread of Life’. Over this sacred grotto, the Church of the Nativity was built, transforming a humble place of divine intervention into one of Christianity’s most treasured pilgrimage sites. The Church of the Nativity is among the oldest continuously functioning churches in existence. It was originally commissioned in the 4th century by Emperor Constantine the Great and his mother, Saint Helena, who identified the grotto as the true site of Christ’s birth. Dedicated in 339 AD, the first basilica drew pilgrims from across the Roman Empire. Although the original structure was destroyed, Byzantine Emperor Justinian rebuilt a grander version in the 6th century, parts of which remain today …More
Ties to accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate exposed in NYT report nytimes.com/2025/12/11/briefing/the-world-of- … New reporting from the New York Times reveals Andrew Tate’s release from Romania—where he faced rape and human trafficking charges—may have involved powerful allies, including Barron Trump. Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Megan Twohey joins to discuss. » Subscribe to MS NOW
But their legal problems haven’t gone away. The Romanian case is moving forward, and once it’s finished, the brothers will face charges of human trafficking and rape in Britain. And in the United States, The Times found, anti-trafficking agents at the Department of Homeland Security have been investigating the Tates for years. Riding Outrage to Money and Fame Andrew Tate found modest fame as a professional kickboxer in the 2010s, but as he tells it, he didn’t start making real money until he and his brother went into pornography. By 2015, the Tates had installed women in apartments and a hotel room in Britain, to perform live on webcams for paying customers. Andrew later described how the brothers romanced attractive women, coaxed them into the business and took most of the profits. “It’s not just about picking up girls,” Mr. Tate said in an interview posted to YouTube. “It’s about converting them into really loving you enough to moving in with you and working for you and giving you …More
The World of Andrew Tate nytimes.com/…025/12/10/us/andrew-tate-barron- … We look at the social media influencer accused of rape and human trafficking, who was freed from Romania after courting Trump’s allies and family members. Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, are paragons of the manosphere — influencers who say a man’s role is to dominate women. In 2023, Romanian prosecutors said the brothers had seduced women and then pressed them into performing for the Tates’ pornography business. Andrew was also accused of rape. They were barred from leaving the country while prosecutors built their case. Earlier this year, though, Romania lifted the travel restrictions. An investigation by my colleagues Megan Twohey and Isabella Kwai found that support from Trump administration officials had played a crucial role in the decision. “We’re massively back,” a grinning Tate said in a video he posted in February as the brothers flew to Florida by private jet. For years, Megan and Isabella …More
In Europe, the controversy surrounding what is popularly known as the “Chat Control” project — proposed EU regulation officially aimed at combating child sexual abuse material — has, for months, been crystallizing massive opposition on both technical and civic fronts. The core principles of the legislation are clear: “Detection software would be embedded in the messaging app or the operating system to scan chat content and automatically forward any material flagged as prohibited to law enforcement agencies.” The automatic scan of private content (texts, images, videos) sent through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram, or prompts sent to AI platforms (e.g. ChatGPT) would take place “client-side,” before its encryption, meaning directly on your phone, tablet or computer. Welcome to 1984. In the first proposal for a Chat Control project in 2022, such scanning was mandatory. In the current proposal, it is optional — but strongly recommended. Whenever there is a desire …
12/14/2025 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. This provocative headline appeared in an article on The Vigilant Fox on Wednesday: The Pandemic Revealed the Most Cowardly Society of All Time. We masked toddlers, banned funerals, and cheered censorship. COVID didn’t break us—it revealed who we really are. Scientific studies comparing the “morbidity” of COVID-19 have several methodological flaws. First, the author’s claim that COVID-19 is a real disease is false. COVID-19 was invented by appropriating ten already known upper respiratory infections, including influenza, to create a new disease name to justify a dangerous pandemic. The best evidence for this is the sudden and unexpected decline in influenza cases at the time COVID-19 was claiming its victims. The second, far more serious error in these studies is the acceptance of the PCR test, developed by the German charlatan Christian Drosten and some of his followers, as the gold standard for diagnosing this non-existent disease. The …
