Ghana’s Archbishop John Kwofie warned that homosexuality and “gay culture” are “growing like a monster” in seminaries and urged Church leaders to “weed out” candidates with homosexual tendencies, saying this contradicts priestly life and Catholic teaching.

Our Lady of Bethelehem - January 20th, 2026 | No Greater Delight
No Greater Delight is a daily Marian podcast meant to start the day with a Marian touch. After examining the Marian feasts celebrated throughout the world on a given day, Fr. Nate offers a brief reflection to help make our love for Our Lady concrete in daily living. The title "No Greater Delight" is inspired by a homily of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, wherein he expresses his joy in preaching about the Virgin Mother, even though he acknowledges the challenge of adequately praising her. Mary's greatness is beyond words. 0:00 Feasts of Mary Today 05:32 The Imitation of Mary WhatsApp Channel: Catholic Voice Links: catholicvoice | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree

President Donald Trump’s administration has launched a federal investigation after a mob of leftist agitators stormed a church in Minneapolis during a Sunday worship service, disrupting congregants and allegedly targeting the pastor over a false belief that he is a senior Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official.
According to attendees and

EXCLUSIVE: Archbishop Viganò's message to young American Catholics - LifeSite

Sat Jan 17, 2026 - 1:29 pm EST
Editor’s note: This is the transcript of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò’s keynote address (delivered via video) at the REGINA Magazine Conference in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, January 17. Published with permission.
(
LifeSiteNews) — Dear Friends,
It is a joy for me to address all of you who have gathered in Tampa with personalities from the traditional Catholic world. Many of you are aware of the very serious institutional crisis we are experiencing, both in the civil and ecclesiastical spheres. The attack against citizens and the faithful originates from the highest authorities of the State and the Church, in a reversal of their proper purposes. Others among you are bewildered by these developments, unable to believe that those in authority could consciously act to destroy the institutions they preside over. There are some, especially among the so-called “moderates,” who still think that the actions of politicians and bishops are the result of inexperience …

Normally, I endorse everything Archbishop Vigano says but I'm having a problem with this message, specifically this: "receiving the Sacraments frequently, assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass." The Archbishop should realize that, although good advice, it isn't very easy to accomplish any more. Great numbers of Churches that were offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass have now discontinued it. I live in a fairly large city and there is only ONE "shrine" where one can attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the whole city. And it is in a high crime area. I don't feel safe going there. Many people must drive for many miles to find a Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and for many, this is prohibitive. Of course, this includes receiving the other Sacraments. True Catholics are like sheep without a shepherd and many feel alone and abandoned. The Archbishop needs to recognize this and not offer impractical advice.

ICE broke into Minnesota home, dragged barely clothed man into snow| Dawn News English
SAINT PAUL, Minnesota, Jan 19 (Reuters) - A Minnesota man told Reuters on Monday he felt fear, shame and desperation a day after ICE officers broke down his door with guns drawn, handcuffed him and dragged him into the snow wearing shorts and Crocs.
ChongLy Thao, 56, a naturalized U.S. citizen who goes by the name Scott, was returned home later on Sunday without explanation ‌or apology, he said.
"I was praying. I was like, God, please help me, I didn't do anything wrong. Why do they do this to me? Without my clothes on," Thao, a Hmong man ‌born in Laos, told Reuters from his home on Monday, while neighbors were at work fixing the broken door.
Pictures of the incident showing Thao barely clothed and covered in a blanket taken by a Reuters photographer and bystanders spread on social media, further fueling concern that federal law enforcement officers were exceeding their authority as part of U.S. …More

Frederic Baraga was born on June 29, 1797, in the manor house at Mala Vas (German: Kleindorf) near the village of Dobrnič in Lower Carniola, a province of the Duchy of Carniola in the Austrian Empire. Today it is part of the Municipality of Trebnje in Slovenia. He was baptized Irenaeus Fridericus Paraga at Saint George's Church in Dobrnič, but never used the name "Irenaeus".
Frederic was the fourth of five children born to Janez Baraga and Marija Katarina Jožefa née Jenčič. His sister Antonija Höffern became the first Slovenian woman to immigrate to the United States. Upon her father's death, Baraga's mother inherited an estate at Mala Vas and substantial fortune. She died in 1808, and her husband in 1812. Frederic spent his childhood in the house of Jurij Dolinar, a lay professor at the diocesan seminary at Ljubljana.

Newyorská polícia zvýšila počet hliadok a viditeľnosť kostolov.

Anti-ICE woke protestors storm church - interesting since they claim that ICE agents are the ones who threaten church services. Even Catholic bishops have dispensed immigrants from Mass obligations due to this bogus reason. HYPOCRISY!!!
