Arrest of Priest for Child Molestation Reignites Scandal in Louisiana Diocese

Korey LaVergne, 37, jailed Friday evening on three counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to officials
Authorities in south-west
Louisiana recently arrested a Roman Catholic priest on accusations of behaving indecently with a child, igniting a new scandal in the diocese where the US church’s reckoning with clergy abuse began – an institution that just disclosed it could lose up to $162m over pending litigation.
Korey LaVergne was jailed Friday evening on three counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, according to Acadia parish sheriff KP Gibson, whose agency arrested the priest. LaVergne had presided over mass at St Edward church in Richard – where the Lafayette diocese had assigned him as pastor – hours before he was booked into the Acadia lockup.
Records showed LaVergne made bail in the amount of $15,000 less than 90 minutes after he was jailed to secure his release from custody pending the outcome of the case.
Details about the allegations against LaVergne …

They Put 125 ‘Refugees’ and 125 Dutch Students in the Same Building – Allah's Willing Executioners

Former residents have filed 20 reports of sexual assault and violence
Stek O0st GOOGLE Maps
This sounds like the plot of one of those terrible reality shows from a generation ago, The Real World or Big Brother, put together 125 students, who get all their reality from university indoctrination, and 125 ‘refugees’ from the third world and the Muslim world, and see how many lives are destroyed in the process.
You can think of Stek Oost in the Netherlands
as a microcosm of the entire Western experiment with Muslim mass migration.
A total of 125 students and 125 refugees would live alongside each other, and were even encouraged to ‘buddy up’ so the migrants would adapt to life in the Netherlands more quickly.
But things quickly turned sour as students shared horrific details of sexual assaults, harassment, violence and stalking with the Dutch investigative documentary programme Zembla.

HHS Launches Urgent Investigation into Cellphone Cancer Risks

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has launched an urgent investigation into the potentially lethal side effects of wireless radiation.
“This move is signaling very strong steps in the right direction,” said Miriam Eckenfels, director of Children’s Health Defense’s (CHD) Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) & Wireless Program.
The Defender reports: Decades of research already point to harm from radiofrequency (RF) radiation emitted by cellphones and cell towers, said Eckenfels, who criticized federal agencies for lagging behind the science. Kennedy “is the right person to correct that.”

She was especially famous for her extreme charity — giving food to the poor even when it seemed impossible. God honoured her love through miraculous signs, reminding everyone that kindness offered in faith never goes unnoticed. In this episode, children will learn: Who Saint Roseline of Villeneuve was Why charity and sharing matter so much to God How prayer and kindness belong together How God can work miracles through loving hearts Saint Roseline’s story gently teaches kids that helping others — even in small, quiet ways — is a beautiful way to love God. Brigitte Bardot Was Not Practising Catholic - Buried with Profane Music

The French actress and sex symbol of the 1960s, Brigitte Bardot, aged 91, was laid to rest on 7 January after a funeral Eucharist in Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera. Celebrated by the parish priest, the Novus Ordo service included mostly profane music, such as the score of Contempt, the 1963 Jean-Luc Godard film in which Bardot starred.
On 17 January, Jeanne Smits published an obituary on LifeSiteNews.com, correcting journalists who had one-sidedly referred to a 2024 interview in which Bardot described herself as a 'traditionalist', recalling the Mass of her childhood.
Denying Eternal Life
Bardot was not a practising Catholic. Although she called herself a believer, she wrote in her 2018 autobiography Larmes de combat (Tears of Battle): "It's the afterlife that's awful; what the body becomes is dirty. I don’t know if life after death exists. I don't know, and I don't necessarily hope that it does. What kind of mess could await us on the other side? We might as well sleep. Forever..." …More

This is a tragedy. She grew up when the red-hot liberals were sneaking out of their demonic spaces and began invading the mainstream church. I am sure that many in her age group abandoned the church and have never come back.

Gregory DiPippo argues that Vatican II’s liturgy constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium was effectively nullified not by neglect but by its early misapplication. He identifies the 1964 decree Inter Oecumenici—especially its promotion of Mass versus populum—as introducing changes never envisioned by the constitution itself. DiPippo contends that subsequent “conciliar reforms,” exemplified by recent experimental reordering of Mantua Cathedral, falsely claim fidelity to the Council while betraying its intent. He concludes that decades of such reinterpretations make it impossible to recover what the Council actually taught, and calls on Church leaders to acknowledge this failure.

What Killed Sacrosanctum Concilium

There have been many laws, decrees, constitutions and such in the Church’s long history which, without ever being formally revoked, simply faded into disuse and obscurity. Very often, it is impossible to say when such laws became dead letters. But in the case of Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Second Vatican Council’s constitution on the liturgy, we know the exact day on which it became a dead letter. That day was September 26, 1964, when the Sacred Congregation for Rites published the decree Inter Oecumenici, billed, falsely, as a step towards its implementation, but in reality, a guarantee that it would not be implemented, but rejected.
I say this because it was the decree that enshrined the celebration of the Mass versus populum. “The main altar should preferably be freestanding, to permit walking around it and celebration facing the people.” (parag. 91) The problem with this was not principally that it was based on an egregious scholarly error, one of many that marred the process …

Sacrosanctum Concilium was not "misapplied" as it had been written in a way allowing to apply it in whatever way revolutionaries wanted.
It is quite grotesque to talk about "nullifying" or "killing" the document that was a mere, temporary jumping point for the further progressive leap.
Come on, that document was dead as a dodo the very moment they voted for it.
Too progressive to protect the liturgy and too conservative for the progressist lobby.
Later events only confirmed the above.
As "indultists" often miss reality they are cultivating the myth of good and salutary "Sacrosanctum Concilium" - actually, the document that had brought no good whatsoever in the field of the Catholic liturgy.

EXCLUSIVE: Archbishop Viganò's message to young American Catholics - LifeSite

LifeSiteNews) — Dear Friends,
It is a joy for me to address all of you who have gathered in Tampa with personalities from the traditional Catholic world. Many of you are aware of the very serious institutional crisis we are experiencing, both in the civil and ecclesiastical spheres. The attack against citizens and the faithful originates from the highest authorities of the State and the Church, in a reversal of their proper purposes. Others among you are bewildered by these developments, unable to believe that those in authority could consciously act to destroy the institutions they preside over. There are some, especially among the so-called “moderates,” who still think that the actions of politicians and bishops are the result of inexperience …

Cardinal Marx Ignored "Great Concern" of Benedict XVI Over German Synod

An unprecedented episode involving Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich occurred in 2021. It was published by Nico Spuntoni in IlGiornale.it on January 17.
Benedict XVI contacted his successor as Archbishop of Munich to express his “great concern” about the synodal process in Germany. He was convinced that this Synodal Path would cause harm and would end badly if it were not stopped.
Cardinal Marx ignored the appeal of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
Additional information concerning the German Synod
On January 17, Pope Leo XIV received Archbishop Nikola Eterović, the Apostolic Nuncio to Berlin, to discuss the German bishops’ statute for a proposed Synodal Council. This body would start in 2026, be permanent and would grant lay members decision-making power.
Furthermore, Spuntoni reveals that Cardinal Marx called during the January 7–8 consistory for the introduction of female deacons. He is the principal architect of the German synodal process.
