New Vatican Prefectessa Is Divorced: Montse Alvarado, the new Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Communication, stated in an interview on Youtube.com on March 10, 2025: "I'm not married, but I am annulled in the Church, and I think it's important to talk about that too, for people to realize that annulment brings you closer to the Church and closer to Christ."
Montse Alvarado: “I'm not married, but I am annulled in the church, and I think it's important to talk about that too, for people to realize that annulment brings you closer to the church and closer to Christ.” This is the new Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Communication in a video on March 10, 2025.
Anyone claiming 'annulment brings you closer to the Church and closer to Christ' likely should have not been granted an annulment until such a misconception/misunderstanding could be clarified. Her declaration seems like a (proud) advertisement for annulment. Is this the kind of skewed 'communications' we can expect from her office? In and of itself, her annulment would not disqualify her from the job but her perspective certainly should. As bungled a piece of communication as one could fabricate.
Throughout the week, you wake up early, prepare meals, organize the house, solve problems, take care of your loved ones, and do everything possible to make sure nothing is lacking. Many times, you end the day tired, yet you keep going because you love your family. That’s why, when Sunday arrives, remember that you also have the right to rest. Not because cooking is a bad thing, nor because taking care of your loved ones is a burden. On the contrary. But someone who is always giving also needs a moment to regain their strength. Before all else on Sunday, first go to church. Go for a walk if you feel like it. Visit someone you care about. Read a book. Sit quietly for a while. Breathe without looking at the clock. Give yourself a few hours to do something that makes you feel good. The meal can be simpler for a day. The house does not have to be perfect every minute. And your family can also help and learn to handle some things on their own. Sometimes women become so accustomed to taking …More
1) How fierce is the spiritual battle? a) Daniel 10:13-14 "The prince of the kingdom of Persia has been resisting me for twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to my assistance. I have left him confronting the kings of Persia and have come to tell you what will happen to your people in the days to come”. b) 1 Corinthians 15:30–32; Why do we put ourselves in danger all the time? Every day I face death—yes, brothers and sisters! My glory lies in Christ Jesus our Lord, for every day I face the danger of death. I fought against the beasts in Ephesus for the sake of humanity. c) Acts 19:13-16 “Some itinerant Jewish exorcists also tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, ‘I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.’ There were seven sons of a certain Jewish high priest named Sceva who did this. But the evil spirit answered them, ‘I know Jesus, and I know who Paul is, but who are you?’ And the man possessed by the evil spirit …More
June 8 Saint William Of York. breski1 Jun 8, 2010 (d. 1154) A disputed election as archbishop of York and a mysterious death. Those are the headlines from the tragic life of today's saint. Born into a powerful family in 12th-century England, William seemed destined for great things. His uncle was next in line for the English throne—though a nasty dynastic struggle complicated things. William himself faced an internal Church feud. Despite these roadblocks, he was nominated as archbishop of York in 1140. Local clergymen were less enthusiastic, however, and the archbishop of Canterbury refused to consecrate William. Three years later a neighboring bishop performed the consecration, but it lacked the approval of Pope Innocent II, whose successors likewise withheld approval. William was deposed and a new election was ordered. It was not until 1154—14 years after he was first nominated—that William became archbishop of York. When he entered the city that spring after years of exile, he …More

1 Corinthians 10:16 -- The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? For we, being many, are one bread, one body, all that partake of one bread.
A new investigation into the destruction of a monument dubbed 'America’s Stonehenge' has shed light on conspiracy theories about what may have fueled its 2022 bombing. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s six-part podcast, Who Blew Up the Guidestones?, examines why the Georgia Guidestones became a target of fringe speculation over global elites, satanic rituals, and UFOs. With so many theories swirling over the supposed nefarious nature of the monument - historians said it was only a matter of time before rampant paranoia would lead to its destruction. The 19-foot granite structure near Elberton was destroyed on July 6, 2022, when an explosive device detonated at around 4.30am. Authorities said ‘unknown individuals’ carried out the attack. Surveillance footage showed a vehicle fleeing the scene, and the remaining slabs were later demolished for safety reasons. No arrests have been made and the case remains unsolved. The Guidestones were commissioned in 1979 by an elusive man who wanted …
