Sen. Fetterman's Slovenliness and Demise of Objective Social Standards

@Tom Morelli Fetterman may claim he hears voices like the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoons, but he dresses like the clown 'Charlie Brown' of 1959's Coasters fame *The Coasters* - Charlie Brown

Infallible Statement of Pope John Paul II against Women's Ordination and supporting clarification

@Live Mike Was there not an ecclesiastical commission a few years back that set forth why women could not be deacons? I believe chipping away at the role of altar boy, lector, etc. and the fuzziness about what constituted minor orders has contributed to this looming fiasco.

What might God be saying? Some strange coincidences

@Jeffrey Ade As the old Billy Preston song (1974) went "Nothing from nothings means nothing. You gotta have something if you wanna be with me"

Sharing a snack with a curious marmot.. 😊

That marmot got tired of waiting for that man to nibble on a biscuit that could be downed in 1/10th the time.

Schneider: Heretical Pope Doesn’t Lose Office

@tradcatknight Frankly when I see a posting that is laden with capitalization I don't read it. Italics are a nice way to emphasize; bold less so; ditto underlining. Anyone wishing to be heard ought turn down the volume.

Schneider: Heretical Pope Doesn’t Lose Office

@Dr Bobus True. However, I reiterate what I remarked earlier (below):
Is there anything in Church law to prevent a public exorcism of Bergolio? I am completely serious. His aberrant actions and pronouncements seem to be those of a man literally possessed. An exorcism would be an act of supreme charity and would not be one of deposing him.

Multiple Remote Viewers Warn of World Changing Event at Year’s End

BTW The US government used that 'remote viewing' jazz to try to locate our P.O.W.s during and after the Vietnam War. Net result zero. Duke University (I believe) was involved in some of this 'parapsychology' fog.

Multiple Remote Viewers Warn of World Changing Event at Year’s End

@Strong and Steadfast It's amazing how the 1970s slither back. Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet; Yuri Geller's spoon-bending; Jean Dixon, the Lost Continent of Atlantis, etc. The assertion we 'all' have some 'psychic abilities' (vestiges of the Garden of Eden); collective consciousness; remote viewing (never found a kidnap victim ever), etc. Buy into any of this and you risk sinning gravely against …More

Schneider: Heretical Pope Doesn’t Lose Office

@en.news In fairness, there are precious few quotes of Bishop Schneider in this e.news 'article'. It's all been filtered editorially with an accompanying (if not misleading) headline designed to set the pack baying. I found the few quotes attributed to Bishop Schneider's herein as implying a certain nuance as I had suggested in my earlier side-bar observations.

It's all been filtered editorially with an accompanying (if not misleading) headline designed to set the pack baying. I found the few quotes attributed to Bishop Schneider's herein as implying a certain nuance as I had suggested in my earlier side-bar observations.
Let's have a show of hands now by the readers of this article: (1) How many of you have ever written to Bishop Schneider to express the concerns you are so lusty about in side-bar? (2) How many of you think what you say in side-bar will be forwarded to Bishop Schneider? (3) How many think what is said here will affect the governance or operation of the Catholic Church?
I am going to try to limit my own offerings henceforth as it is so very difficult to hope that what I have written will be read as written and intended.

Schneider: Heretical Pope Doesn’t Lose Office

@SonoftheChurch Agree. But then, what proof or tangible evidence can ever be produced when there is virtually no inquiry whatsoever?
Liam Ronan

Schneider: Heretical Pope Doesn’t Lose Office

@en.news "There is no authority to declare an elected and generally accepted Pope as invalid." Isn't that precisely the underpinning upon which this matters turns? First and foremost, was he validly elected according to canonical norms? If not, then 'general acceptance' seems to be a non-issue.

Allegations of abuse against German legend, the late Cardinal Hengsbach, Bishop of Essen. What did …

@myunkie I agree. But to do more than just let the Bishop and his family simply lie in peace, I've enrolled the Bishop and his entire family in the Rorate Caeli Purgatorial Society (link below). You don't have to know the person you're enrolling. (I often go to the daily newspaper obituaries to enroll souls.) In fact you can enroll anyone who ever lived no matter they died centuries ago. I do.
