A street accident took the lives of Sr Giuseppina Lupo (37) from Italy and Sr Luiza Manuel (46) from Mozambique. They belonged to the Comboni Missionary Sisters and were based in the Catholic parish in Santo Antônio do Matupi, Brazil.
Saturday morning their Mitsubishi Triton L200, coming at a low-speed from Santo Antônio do Matupi, went off the road and overturned. The two sisters were thrown out of the car and died immediately. They were found by road-workers.
