Gloria.tv Nearly Doubled Its Visitors in One Year

With your unfailing help, Gloria.tv managed to nearly double its monthly unique visitors in 2018.

In autumn 2017 we registered each month around 2,5 million unique visitors, in autumn 2018 they were 4 million. Gloria.tv grows enormously despite Google, Facebook and others trying to negatively impact Catholic platforms like ours.

Our Christmas wish is: Let’s keep Gloria.tv up and grow in 2019. The Christmas fundraising campaign is very important for us.

@Holy Cannoli Thanks for this list. According to your list there is a declining interest in the news show. I've never checked that an can therefore not comment.

Clicks and User statistics are rising enormous.

Dear Eva,
Please comment on the following:

I did a search for the news presented by Doina and Lucia at approximately 3 month intervals arbitrarily beginning on August 2016. I listed the title of the news, the date the news was given and the number of hits for that particular news.

Gloria.TV News on the 12th of August 2016 11,000 hits.

Gloria.TV News on the 12th of August 2016 11,000 hits.
One month later, Gloria.TV News on the 9th of September 2016 produced 6,000 hits.
One month later, Gloria.TV News on the 10th of October 2016 produced 10,000 hits
One month later, Gloria.TV News on the 15th of November 2016 produced 5,300 hits
One month later, Gloria.TV News on the 15th of December 2016 produced 4,300 hits
Three months later, Gloria.TV News on the 16th of March 2017 produced 8,800 hits
Three months later New Academy of Life: Bye-Bye John Paul II (June 15, 2017) 4,200 hits
Three months later, News on the 14th of September produced 2,600 hits
Three months later, Church Renewal Will Not Come From Germany (Dec 14, 2017) 2,700 hits
Three months later, Interesting Analysis of Pope Francis’ Personality (March 15, 2018) 3,000 hits
Three months later, Is Pope Francis a Pagan? (June 17, 2018) 2,800 hits
Three months later, Conservative Cardinal Defends Francis (Sept 17, 2018) 2,500 hits
Three months later, Priest Claims Archbishop Lefebvre Was Sedevacantist (Dec 12, 2018) 2,300 hits

Of course the above list does not give every news article presented during the past 2 years nor does it give the other articles posted by individual members for the dates sited. However I believe it is representative of the decline in the number of hits for those dates and, by extension, the decline in the number of posters (on the English board) over the past 3 years.
------------------
I have several questions.

Do you agree that there has been a decline in hits for the dates listed?
Do you think that may reflect on the number of members of GTV?
If you agree, what would you say are the reasons for this decline?
Ave Crux
I think it's clearly linked to the fact that the Gloria.tv news show with Doina and Lucia used to come out daily and was a regular source of news. Now it comes out only sporadically, so fewer people check it for updates. I know this has been the case with myself as it publishes very unpredictably, so I don't go there daily as I used to.

@Holy Cannoli Lists are made by someone according to a personal taste or interest (here to push EWTN and its products).

Look in Amazon's ranking list "www.alexa.com" (the lower the number, the bigger the site).

Google = Place 1
Youtube = Place 2
Facebook = Place 3

Gloria.tv = Place 9,142

Now the 5 "most popular" websites in your list.

Dear Eva,
As you have written, GTV is listed 9,142 Global rank and the other sites are numbered as you have indicated. Another piece of information is that Facebook fans and Twitter fans for those other websites are listed at this site while GTV does not appear.

What I still do not understand is how GTV can be so highly rated (lower number at Alexa) and yet it completely fails to appear in any of the lists of most popular Catholic internet sites? That is unless one believes that for some reason the various Catholics who compile those lists each have an animus for Gloria.tv?
Eva
@Holy Cannoli The lists also do not mention lifesitenews.com or aleteia.org - one may like them or not - but both are much more relevant than the mentioned ones.

Perhaps the increase in members and posters that you point out appears on the German and other boards. Strictly from my own anecdotal observation, the numbers of posters on the English board has not doubled as you mention but rather the number of postings/posters has declined sharply over the years.

I think it's quite easy to explain why Gloria.tv has doubled the numbers of visitors within one year: because gloria.tv is loyal to the authentic teachings of Our Holy Mother Church even if compromised by the liberal hierarchy of the said church.
The Devil tries to distroy this work but he is unable to win that battle because our Mother Mary protect her flock.
