Exorcist Andrea Gemma on Medjugorje: "Absolutely Diabolical"

Bishop and Exorcist Andrea Gemma on Medjugorje: "Absolutely Diabolical"
Vatican City

You speak of "underworld interests". Of what kind?

"I'm referring to 'the Devil's dung', to money, what else? At Medjugorje everything happens for the sake of money: pilgrimages, overnight stays, the sales of trinkets. In this way, abusing the good faith of the poor people who go there with the idea of meeting the Madonna, the false seers have set themselves up financially, they have married and live a wealthy life, to say the least.

"Just think: one of them, directly from America, with a direct economic profit, organizes tens of pilgrimages every year. These people don't seem to be really disinterested persons to me. Rather, with all the people vulnerable to this noisy swindle, they evidently have a great material interest in getting people to believe that they see and speak with the Virgin Mary."

The allegations about money are nonsense. I have been there , and it is no different from Lourdes or Fatima. There are hotels and restaurants ( very cheap ) and you can buy stuff ( everything extremely cheap to western standarts) . The thousands of pelgrims cant sleep in the grass! and eat berries . pelgrimages are organised , yes, whats wrong with that?
mathe
father Amort , former chief exorcist of Rome , says the opposite . He said that Medjugorje is a fortress , a stronghold against the devil. Also Cardinal Schonbrun is very in favor of Medjugorje. This november he invited one of the seeers to Vienna . There was an apparition in the Cathedral with Card. Schonbrun present.

Dear sister:
1. The Gospels were written over a century AFTER Christ died. Therefore the words of which you speak are not direct speech but reported speech.

2. As a Roman Catholic we believe that we are guided by:
a. Holy Scripture as interpreted exclusively by HOly Mother Church

You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

Indeed, Fatima has the most and has the recent evidence of the message from heaven, and is approved by the Holy See (also in Kibeho). According to the Angel of Peace, only through recieving the Holy Eucharit is the way to holiness (John 6:52-58).

You're not having to believe in either approved or unapproved, the fact remains all apparitions once fell into the unapproved catagory. It will be interesting to see how quickly Medjugorje merchants will close shop when the papal commission rules against the alleged visions.

Place your bets now. They will:

1. Close shop immediately
2. Continue spreading the "messages", because "a new papal commission will exonerate them"
3. Become the Medjugorje sheepdogs and offer 50% off all forbidden material before moving on

It's clear that the "messages" will continue as long as there's money to be made. I hope that the papal commission sees enough of Medjugorje that they won't wait until they cease (they make those rules you know) and rules on it accordingly... Hopefully soon.

Benedict XVI thought enough of Medjugorje to have a Papal Commission organized of the identical format that investigated Lourdes and Fatima to investigate Medjugorje. When the apparitons cease (which the have not) a final analysis can be done on authenticity or not of the apparitions there. What's wrong with Lourdes?
How about Fatima, Czestochowa, or LaSalette?

If you must study apparitions or make a pilgrimage, why not go to places without controversy?

Now faith is the substantiating of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (D/R)
kfarley
Karl Marx would deny Medjugorje also gdacumos so as the saying goes "For those with faith no proof is necessary and for those without faith no proof is possible." The thinking mind can comprehend that faith is needed for Medjugorje, God or anything supernatural since the supernatural cannot be proven or disproven through natural law and a scientific experiment cannot prove or disprove a miracle.
