Cardinal Schönborn's attack against former Salzburg Auxiliary Bishop Andreas Laun has been “dishonest” and “gravely unfair” according to the renowned Dutch psychologist Gerard van den Aardweg.
Schönborn attacked Laun for comparing the “value” of gay relationships with concentration camps after the latter had pointed out that sin can never be blessed, neither homosexual unions nor brothels nor concentration camps.
Van den Aardweg notices on lifesitenews (February 26) that Schönborn acted as “a militant gay man would have done” although anyone with common sense understood what Bishop Laun meant. He notices that over the last years Schönborn has been preaching “the psychologically nonsensical and spiritually terrible, non-Catholic ideology of the ‘value of same-sex relationships’”. Schönborn went as far as allowing the desecration of his cathedral by hosting a gay-prayer service including a drag queen.
