Pro-Catholic Bishop Retires Early

Pope Francis accepted on October 12 the early retirement of Bishop Alain Castet (67) of Luçon, France. He was appointed in 2008 and retired due to health issues.

Liberal relativists started attacking Castet after he ordained six deacons of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in 2012. Two years later, the same group organised a press conference against the bishop in a church attacking him for promoting the Old Rite, Holy Communion on the tongue and male altar servers. This summer Castet invited Cardinal Robert Sarah to his diocese.
