Italian Bishops Make (Mediocre) Fun About Jesus
The Italian bishops’ daily Avvenire which is closely alined with Pope Francis, publishes regularly a cartoon of Sergio Staino, a militant atheist who was officially hired to please the world that does not much care about Avvenire.
February 25, Staino produced a cartoon containing a more or less senseless dialogue between Jesus Christ and Saint Mary Magdalene:
Jesus: Oh, hello Magdalena!
Mary Magdalene: What do you think?... Is my headpiece not beautiful?
Jesus (praying): Oh my God, make me say yes… say yes! …say yes!
Mary Magdalene: So what?
Jesus: It’s horrible…
Mary Magdalene slaps Jesus.
Jesus: Father, Father… why am I condemned to always say the truth?!?
