Abortion should not become a human right by the UNO

Did you know that one of the most influential global meetings in decades regarding abortion will take place next month? At the meeting, global leaders will decide how the United Nations will disperse development aid funding to countries -- and there they don’t want your voice to be heard!
The meeting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD25) will take place November 12-14 in Nairobi, Kenya. This is where 10,000 abortionists will make their pitch to member states of the United Nations, asking them to support abortion worldwide as an unregulated human right and even grant free access to abortion as a part of universal healthcare coverage.
One of the most influential participants in this event is President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya. President Kenyatta has agreed to co-host this event and is also one of the most influential leaders in the African Group voting block, which includes 54 member states. That is one-fourth of the voting members of the United Nations!
The agenda of this conference does not represent the spirit of African culture, which is predominantly pro-life, and the Constitution of Kenya, which declares life begins at conception and unborn babies deserve the right to life. Africans are being blackmailed: if you want development aid, you have to embrace abortion.
Sadly, pro-life groups like CitizenGO have been banned from attending! Our input at the official meeting is being restricted because organizers see us as a threat to their radical agenda.
Even if the environment is very hostile to pro-lifers, we must not give in. Each member of the CitizenGO community can help to reject abortionists attempts in the UN.
Will you help pro-lifers have a voice at ICPD25? Sign our petition to President Uhuru Kenyatta, asking him to remove his support from this conference. Just a few weeks left before the conference begins!

The purpose of ICPD25 is to provide the United Nations a forum to mobilize political pressure and financial commitments from its member states to support abortion worldwide. That is 194 countries, including the United States!
We must stand united against this evil agenda to kill unborn babies. That’s why thousands of CitizenGoers are already speaking out against ICPD25 by signing our petition and taking their outrage to social media.
From around the world, our platform is giving concerned citizens a chance to let President Kenyatta know that the ICPD25 agenda does not represent the pro-life community and attempts to African values -- while encouraging him to pull his support.

These brave women are from Uganda, South Africa, and Kenya. They have joined our movement to fight against the twelve commitments of ICPD in the official Programme of Action, which includes:

Abortion as a human right.

Free access to abortion and contraception, including for children

Sex education in the classroom

Promoting gender theory and exclusive rights to the LGBT community.
However, ICPD25 gets even more disturbing as you dig under the surface. Conference organizers have invited the Chinese government to speak about their forced abortion policy as a means to promote a sustainable society.
We have demonstrated that the voice of pro-lifers worldwide cannot be silenced and that we can get what we want through impactful campaigns. Can we count on you to join them in this fight?
Sign our petition to President Uhuru Kenyatta, which is asking him to pull his support from the outcome of this conference.

Considering that 87% of Kenyans are against abortion and 90% of Kenyans do not support same-sex marriage -- I would think that this extreme Programme alone would encourage the President of Kenya to remove his support from this conference.
If the Programme of Action is approved, development aid funding will only be distributed to the member states who agree to its terms. Until we got involved, the Kenyan Government was willing to sit quietly and support the outcome so they could have additional access funding.
If we miss this chance, abortion will now go one step further in international law and Africa will be abused and, once again, obligated to choose between economic development and human dignity,
But if we can convince President Uhuru Kenyatta to pull his support from ICPD, as one of the most prominent co-organizers, it will delegitimize the entire conference and its outcome. Thus, that would mean there is no abortion as a human right and no global vision for China’s forced abortion policy. And, as a bonus, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s position within the African Group voting block with also signal to the other African countries to pull their support too.
We have to stop this radical agenda. Sign here!

Thank you,

Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO team
P.S. We are sending a team of campaigners to Nairobi, Kenya to make sure that the voice of each person who signs this petition is heard. The United Nations does not want pro-lifers at ICPD25, but we will do all we can so that our voices are still heard!
