From 2020 the Catholic Church in Canada will force every priests to have his fingerprints taken, Le Journal de Montréal reports. The pretext for this measure is an alleged "protection of the vulnerable".
Further the priests will have their criminal record checked every three years by the police.
No priest will ever be allowed near a child without being supervised by another adult. According to the paper the parents may be present during the First Confession of their children.

What is not being said here is that it is the BISHOPS who are treating the priests like criminals in order to avoid their own lack of proper governance of the Church. Had they addressed this issue the right way in the beginning the priest would not be under constant suspicion.

The statistic are that public teachers have molested more than Catholic priests. The media just magnifies the problem in an anti-Catholic bias.
